Even after the many struggles that Kara and Sara have already surpassed in Doble Kara, Julia Montes promises that the ABS-CBN afternoon drama series has a lot more to offer.
At her launch as the newest ambassador, together with Kathryn Bernardo, for Freshlook and Air Optix Colors, the lead star gleefully looked back at her journey as Kara and Sara.
For 11 months and counting, she had plenty ot realizations while portraying the twin lead characters on Doble Kara, which airs weekdays after It's Showtime! on ABS-CBN.
Here's four important things that the twins taught her:
1. Never let your emotions overpower you.
More than anything, Julia learned from Sara to not "react based on your emotions.
"Kasi sometimes medyo may feeling tayo na, dahil ma-ano [taas] yung emotions natin, nakakapag-salita tayo at nakakagawa tayo ng mga bagay na pwede natin i-regret at the end of the day. "
2. Value your family.
Doble Kara is just one of the many teleseryes meant to make the viewers realize the importance of one's family.
"Always think of your family. [Because] at the end of the day maaring lahat mawala except for your family."

3. Appreciate even the simplest things.
Often times, people tend to ask for things that are quite out of reach.
Julia advises: "Open your eyes, open your mind, and open your heart.
"May mga times na di natin naa-appreciate yung mga maliliit na bagay pero at the end of the day, kapag may mga struggles na dumadating, makikita mo na sila pala yung nandyan."
When asked what Kara made her realize, she says, it's definitely about being a good mom.
"For Kara, yung sa motherhood niya.
"Marami akong natutunan na kung pano ka ni-raise ng magulang mo, talagang magrereflect yun sa 'yo.
"Pagtanda mo pag naging ikaw na yung mother especially on Kara’s part na kung pano siya pinalaki ni Ate Carmina [Villarroel], ganun din siya kung pano magpalaki ng anak niya."
