Filipina mom Ivy Grace Paredes left the judges of X Factor UK Season 13—Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger, and Sharon Osbourne—in awe after her powerful audition.
On the September 11 episode, Ivy Grace said girl group 4th Impact, who placed 5th last season, inspired her to join the show.
The Bukidnon native said, "When I watched them, I was really inspired that if they can make it, I can make it."
Ivy Grace added that she left her two-year-old daughter in the country with her grandparents to pursue her dream of joining the British talent search. She admits that singing has always been a passion of hers and she wishes to pursue this to help her family.
She pointed out, "I am not really getting younger... not really young, [but] I can still be on stage that's why I'm on the X Factor!"
The 33-year-old aspiring singer received four yeses from the judges after belting out a Whitney Houston's hit titled "All The Man That I Need" for her audition piece.
After her performance, Nicole gushed, "She just sang our faces off! That's what happened!
"Everybody comes in here and say, 'Oh, I want it so bad! I'm fighting for it!' But that, right there, is called wanting it and fighting for it."
Simon noted that the second half of her performance definitely left a mark. The longtime talent search judge observed, "More than amazing! It was the second half of the song! I mean, I thought the first half you're good and then suddenly you were possessed by somebody."
He continued, "I mean it was incredible, the second half of that song. Incredible! One of the best we've had!"
Louise thought Ivy Grace's performance was "amazing." The Irish talent manager added, "You're sensational, you're like a little diva!"
Sharon also became a fan of her performance and ended the panel discussion saying, "You did yourself proud."
Towards the end of her audition, Simon asked Ivy Grace what made her audition for X Factor UK instead of other talent searches.
Ivy Grace explained, "For me, this is the biggest competition and I want to be a part of it. And X Factor can give me the stepping stone that I need to do good in the future, because this is all for my daughter."
