Sam Pinto, a known talent of GMA-7, has been seen in several shows of her original home network ABS-CBN. The actress was seen in Home Sweetie Home and Banana Sundae during the weekend of October 22-23, 2016.

Has Sam Pinto returned to her original home network, ABS-CBN?

The sexy actress has been appearing on some Kapamilya shows recently, most especially this past weekend.

Last Saturday, October 22, Sam promoted on her Instagram account her guesting in the Toni Gonzaga-John Lloyd Cruz sitcom Home Sweetie Home.

Sam Pinto even thanked viewers who watched her stint through her Twitter account.

Her posts sparked questions from her followers if she has already returned to ABS-CBN, but Sam did not answer any of the comments.

Last October 8, Sam had her first guesting stint in the Kapamilya network through the game show Family Feud, wherein she formed a group called "Team Hotties" with her fellow VIVA artists Meg Imperial, Yam Concepcion, and Bangs Garcia.

Though she has done a guesting in TV5's Midnight DJ in 2009, it is known that Sam jumpstarted her career when she joined Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up later that year. She was evicted on Day 98.

In 2010, Sam and her fellow PBB: Double Up housemates did a five-part installment of Your Song titled Isla. At the same time, she became Jake Cuenca's leading lady in Agimat presents Elias Paniki.

After her stints in those shows, rumors came out that Sam was transferring to GMA Network.

On September 19 that year, Sam was introduced as the newest Kapuso via the shows Party Pilipinas and Showbiz Central.

When asked why she transferred networks, she reasoned out, "I'm so thankful and grateful to ABS for giving me my break. But I guess, like I said, mas marami ngang opportunities dito [GMA-7]."

She also added, "They have so many stars to begin with."

Sam was then immediately included in the long-running gag show Bubble Gang.

She also acted in several Kapuso shows, mainly: Ilumina (2010), Jillian, Namamasko Po (2010), Captain Barbell: Ang Pagbabalik (2011), Legacy (2012), Indio (2013), With A Smile (2013), Vampire ang Daddy Ko (2014), and Beautiful Strangers (2015).

Sam also did movies under GMA Films including Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote (2010), Tween Academy: Class of 2012 (2011), Boy Pick-up: The Movie (2012), and Si Agimat, si Enteng, at Ako (2012).

Sam was also able to do one movie with Star Cinema while in GMA. She was tapped to play the third wheel to Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson in Catch Me I'm In Love.

Just early this year, Sam joined the cast of TV5 and VIVA's remake of Ang Panday, starring Richard Gutierrez.

In the October 21 episode of Bubble Gang, Sam's name is still in the opening billboard but she was not seen anymore in that episode.

Is this a sign that Sam is now returning to the Kapamilya network? A formal announcement is yet to be made regarding her transfer.
