Some of the things top stars consider when signing exclusive contracts with a TV network: opportunities, trust, gratitude, and loyalty.

These things are mainly the reasons why celebrities remain faithful to their home networks for years.

Here are GMA-7 actors who stayed with the Kapuso network for more than 10 consecutive years: 

1. Betong Sumaya

Betong has stayed as a Kapuso for over 27 years. His career started behind-the-scenes as a supervising editor for the 1989 public affairs show The Probe Team hosted by Che-Che Lazaro. He was later tapped as an extra for several Kapuso public affairs show and later became a segment host on Susan Enriquez's defunt weekend program Kay Susan Tayo way back in 2003. In 2012, he joined and won the reality show Survivor Philippines Celebrity Doubles Showdown.

2. Vic Sotto

Bossing Vic is just a year away from his 40th year in the showbiz industry, with most of those years spent in GMA-7. The Kapuso comedian has stayed with GMA for 21 straight years since Eat Bulaga's transfer to the Kapuso network way back in 1995.

3. Joey de Leon

Joey de Leon has also stayed with the Kapuso network for over 21 straight years. Joey started his showbiz career as a radio DJ and later transitioned as a comedian and host with Vic and Tito Sotto through IBC 13's gag show OK Lang and GMA's first noontime show Student Canteen. The TV host-comedian has always been a Kapuso during his earlier years and came back in 1995 with the Dabarkads of Eat Bulaga.

5. Jimmy Santos

Jimmy Santos also made it to our list along with other Eat Bulaga hosts including Tito, Vic, and Joey. The former PBA star has been a Kapuso for over 21 years (or more) since the noontime show made its transfer to the network.

6. Allan K

Comedian Allan K joined the Eat Bulaga team back in 1984 when the show was still with RPN 9. The comedian/actor joined the rest of the Dabarkads when it transfered to GMA-7 in 1995. Aside from the noontime show, the Kapuso network tapped Allan K to host some of its comedy programs.

7. Jose Manalo

Jose Manalo entered showbiz by playing a supporting role in the TV series Valiente back in 1995. He joined Eat Bulaga as a production assistant and was later given the opportunity to host a segment of the show with Wally Bayola.

8. Michael V.

Comedian Michael V remained loyal to the Kapuso network for the past 21 years. Last March, Michael V renewed his network contract with GMA-7. In an interview with GMA News, the 46-year-old comedian explained, "GMA kasi nagbigay talaga sa akin ng pinakamagandang break I would say. So, hindi mawawala yung loyalty ko talaga. Parang ano na 'to, e, more than work yung relationship. Parang beyond friendship na nga."

Antonio Aquitania is one of two original cast members of Bubble Gang who are still seen on the show along with Michael V. Antonio has stayed with the Kapuso network for over 21 years.

10. Dingdong Dantes

The Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes remained faithful to the network for 20 years now starting with teen dramas T.G.I.S. and Anna Karenina in the mid-'90s. In 2013, he signed a five-year exclusive contract with GMA citing the network's unwavering support for his career as the main reason for his decision. He told PEP, "Practically half of my lifetime, they were there to support me noong nag-uumpisa ako, nag-uumpisa akong mangarap." The actor added, "They are always there to support me in fulfilling my dreams. Lahat ng pupuwede ko pang gustong gawin. And that support, like what I’ve said, is beyond just being company and network and just a house to hone my talents, but I see it as a home."

He said, "I'm just happy because GMA has been really good to me."

Comedian Wally Bayola has been active in the showbiz industry since 1997 and now celebrating his 16th year as a Kapuso. It was in 2000 when he officially joined the cast of Eat Bulaga and later formed the trio JoWaPao along with Jose Manalo and Paolo Ballesteros. Through the years, Wally took part on different Kapuso sitcoms and comedy programs.

14. Dennis Trillo

Dennis Trillo is now on his 14th year as a Kapuso star and has become one of the network's primetime regulars. When asked why he remains loyal to the network, he said in an interview with GMA News, "Dito ako sobrang at home. Kilala ko na lahat ng tao dito mula sa pinakamaliit hanggang sa pinakamalaki at dito ako sobrang kumportable. Sila yung nagbigay sa akin ng mga projects na memorable kaya nandito ako ngayon. Kailanman, hindi ko makakalimutan yung pagtitiwalang ibinigay nila sa akin."

Drew Arellano is now on his 13th year as a Kapuso host. Before joining showbiz, Drew worked in the advertising industry and was a commercial model. He started his career via acting and was part of the third batch of Click barkada in 2003. He later fell in love with hosting and pursued it as a career through the years.

16. Mark Herras

Mark Herras was introduced to the showbiz industry via StarStruck which he won with Jennylyn Mercado. Since then, he was tapped as the lead actor in several Kapuso TV daytime and primetime dramas. Last September, he renewed his contract with the Kapuso Network and expressed his gratitude for the continued trust and support. He told GMA News, "After all these years siyempre ang loyalty ko nasa GMA pa rin. Hindi naman po magbabago yun dahil utang na loob ko po sa kanila lahat ng mayroon ako today."

He told PEP, "May trabaho naman ako, consistent naman yung takbo at least once or twice a year may trabaho ako. Tsaka hindi ko pa nakikitaan ng opening para makalipat ako or lumipat ako. Parang so far, okay ako dito at mahal ko yung GMA, kung papaano nila ako mina-manage. Kuntento ako."
