Tony Labrusca is keeping his hopes high as the finale of Pinoy Boyband Superstar airs tonight, December 11.
In a short exchange of email messages with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Tony said his PBS journey has been life-changing for him.
“I've learned so much on my journey here on the show. I would say my audition was my most memorable moment,” he said.
It was through this show when he was reunited with his estranged father, actor Boom Labrusca.
Ever since their reunion on the show, Tony said his father has been very supportive of his Pinoy Boyband Superstar bid.
“He's definitely helped me in terms of how to handle showbiz.
“I'm so new, I'm still learning the ropes of how things work around here.
“But he's given me a lot of really useful advice.
“The most important is simply to have fun and trust in God.”
If given the chance to be one of the five members of Pinoy Boyband Superstar, Tony said he's going to improve his singing skills.
“If I win PBS, all the training that comes after will definitely develop my voice,” the K-pop fan told PEP.
Tony will be among the finalists performing tonight at Pinoy Boyband Superstar grand reveal.
Last night, finalist Niel Murillo was named as the first member of Pinoy Boyband Superstar.
Other contending finalists are Ford Valencia Joao Constancia, Mark Oblea, Russel Reyes, Tristan Ramirez, and Tony.
Find out who among them will win through public votes and votes of celebrity judges Vice Ganda, Sandara Park, Yeng Constantino, and Aga Muhlach tonight at 7 p.m. on ABS-CBN.
