See Pinoy Boyband Superstar winning moments of Joao, Russell, Tristan, Ford and Niel

Five young heartthrobs were officially hailed as winners of ABS-CBN's reality talent competition titled Pinoy Boyband Superstar.

Last Saturday, December 10, the 17-year-old aspiring singer Niel Murillo was named as the first official member of the Kapamilya boy group called Boyband PH.

The other four members—Joao Constancia, Russell Reyes, Tristan Ramirez, and Ford Valencia—were named during the show's Grand Reveal on Sunday night, December 12.

The judges, composed of Vice Ganda, Sandara Park, Yeng Constantino, and Aga Muhlach were all present to chose who among the last six finalists will make the cut.

Here are scenes from the live shows last weekend:

Joao Constancia was the first contestant to perform on stage. Dubbed as the Party Prince of Macau, the 19-year-old heartthrob performed Brandon Beal's "Twerk It Like Miley."

Comedian/host Vice Ganda wasn't particularly impressed with Joao's vocals but the It's Showtime host commended his stage presence and overall qualities.

Vice told the contestant, "Hindi aabot sa boses ni Niel at sa boses ni Russell, pero utang na loob, yung swag mo, yung charm mo, yung dancing skills mo, yung good looks mo is giving you more than a thousand reasons kung bakit ka dapat nasa group na binubuo namin."

Tony Labrusca was the second finalist to perform. The 21-year-old aspiring singer from Pasig City seranded fans with Erik Santos' "Kulang Ako Kung Wala Ka."

However, Tony's performance didn't quite impress some of the judges. Aga told Tony, "Tonight I just didn't like your song. Hindi ganun kalakas siya, pero in total, you're okay, you're good."

Ford Valencia was the third to perform and pumped up the crowd with his performance of Usher's "Without You."

Aga was impressed with his comeback performance and told him, "I wouldn't be surprised if I see you on the fourth spot."

Meanwhile, for her part, Dara thanked Tony and Ford for being an inspiration.

The K-pop superstar said, "Kanina sinabi sa akin ni Tony na K-pop daw yung isa sa malaking inspirasyon para sa kanya.

"Pero para sa akin, kayo ang malaking inspirasyon sa buhay ko. Nakaka-proud talaga!"

Mark Oblea partied with fans as he entertained them with his rendition of "Mangarap Ka," originally performed by After Image.

Vice was impressed by Mark's passionate performance and told him, "Matalino yung ginawa mo kasi pinusuan mo yung performance mo."

Tristan Ramirez performed his version of Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop The Feeling."

After Mark and Tristan's performance, Sandara admitted that she's having a hard time choosing who among the contestants should be part of the boy band being formed by ABS-CBN.

Dara said, "Hindi ba puwedeng dalawang grupo na lang yung gagawin? Isang Boyband Cuties at isang Boyband Hunks!"

Russell Reyes was the last to perform and belted Adele's "All I Ask" for his number. The 18-year-old singer from Chicago, Illinois received a standing ovation from all the judges.

Aga even asked viewers to vote for Russell, "Makikiusap ako sa lahat ng bumoboto, please vote for Russell! We need him!"

Yeng also commended his performance and said, "Ikaw ang boses ng boyband!"

Billy Crawford hosted the Kapamilya talent competition.

Former Kapuso singer Ogie Alcasid performed a mash-up of VST. & Co.'s "Sumayaw Sumunod" and Justin Bieber's "What Do U Mean?"

Ogie also announced that he will be hosting the kids' edition of Your Face Sounds Familiar in 2017.

The group's name was also revealed: Boyband PH.

The winners took home a motorcycle from Yamaha, P1 million cash prize, and a management contract with Star Magic.
