Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza already attended the story conference of their first teleserye on GMA-7.
Photos of Alden and Maine at the GMA Executive Lounge circulated yesterday, December 12, along with other managers, artists, and GMA executives.
This was confirmed by PEP contributor Allan Diones who wrote in his Abante Tonite column that the Kapuso primetime series is titled Destined To Be Yours.
Seasoned actress Janice de Belen, who was last seen in ABS-CBN's daytime series Be My Lady, also posted a photo with Maine on her Instagram account.
She only said in the caption, "OOOOPSSSSS, IT'S MAINE MENDOZA @mainedcm."
Kapuso actress Ina Feleo also posted a photo on Instagram together with the AlDub love team.
She wrote, "Accidentally twinning with @mainedcm. Nice to finally meet you! Always been a fan of #aldub @aldenrichards02."
GMA Drama executive producer Rebya Upalda also posted a photo with AlDub on her Instagram account.
Janice's manager Popoy Caritativo also had his photo taken with Alden in the same event.
Because of these posts, netizens speculated that these events happened during the AlDub teleserye's story conference.
During the taping of GMA-7's Christmas Special, it was seen that Alden and Maine were onstage with TV screens bearing the title card Destined To Be Yours.
This is believed to be the title of the much-anticipated first teleserye of AlDub.
Last November, a user with the handle @simplydimple posted an Instagram story of a storyboard for GMA's omnibus plugs for its 2017 shows, which included Barbie Forteza's upcoming teleserye Meant to Be.
At that time, the AlDub teleserye was still called "Hiling."
Details about Alden and Maine's first teleserye are yet to be confirmed by GMA executives.
Last August, it was confirmed that Alden and Maine will finally be starring in their own teleserye. However, the TV series did not push through this year.
Alden last appeared on GMA-7's telefantasya Encantadia wherein he played the Mulawin Lakan.
It was in November 2015 when Maine made her first appearance in a teleserye via the defunct daytime series Princess In The Palace starring Ryzza Mae Dizon.
Maine was cast back then as Chef Elize.
