Sylvia Sanchez reveals that she slapped Dimples Romana six times for a scene in The Greatest Love.

Even though Gloria's illness has already been revealed to her children, Sylvia Sanchez says more revelations will unfold on The Greatest Love.

The January 11 episode of The Greatest Love became a trending topic on social media when Gloria's (Sylvia Sanchez) Alzheimer's Disease was revealed to her children. Amanda (Dimples Romana), Andrei (Matt Evans), Paeng (Arron Villaflor), and Lizelle (Andi Eigenmann), and Gloria's grandson Z (Joshua Garcia) were all shocked to learn about her condition.

The said episode earned praise from viewers who said they were affected by this crisis in the Alegre household.

Sylvia admitted to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that it wasn't easy to shoot these sensitive scenes.

She narrated, "Hirap kami lahat sa pagshoot no'n kasi siyempre like ako, bilang Gloria, noong nagka-Alzheimer's na, noong una, normal, okay, kaya.

May puso ako!' Kasi bawal umiyak.

According to the actress, she is thankful and happy that her co-stars on the show know how to handle ensemble scenes like what was aired.

"Magaling silang lahat. At saka maganda kasi sa show wala yung talagang, 'Mas magaling ako sa'yo o mas sikat ako sa 'yo o ako bida.' Walang ganun.

"Pantay pantay kami, wala ditong pa star-an tapos pagdating sa acting nagbibigayan talaga. Kaya gusto ko kasi ensemble talaga.

"Yun naman yung sinabi ko from the start, sana gawin natin as isa tayo kasi mas maganda tignan sa screen pag ensemble ang cast which is naachieve namin."

Sylvia then commended the actors who play her children in the Kapamilya afternoon series.

However, she singled out the young actor: "Pero yung Joshua Garcia, iba 'yon. Pupuwesto yung batang yun, yan na yung next na aabangan.

"Yan na yung sisikat diyan kasi to think kami, matagal na, e. Yung batang yun, sumasabay."

CONFRONTATION SCENES. Aside from the said episode, The Greatest Love is also known for its confrontation scenes.

According to Sylvia, she has already slapped Arron. It is known that Paeng is considered to be the black sheep among Gloria's children.

"Isang eksena anim na beses ko siyang nasampal kasi, take two, iba ibang anggulo."

The same story goes for Dimples, whose character Amanda always engages in a fight with Gloria.

In fact, because of Amanda's mean ways towards Gloria, a netizen made a meme showing Sylvia's son Arjo Atayde holding a bottle with the face of Dimples inside it.

The netizen said, "Amanda, humanda ka kay Joaquin!"

Joaquin is Arjo's villainous character in the primetime series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.

What can viewers expect in the coming episodes of The Greatest Love?
