APT big boss Tony Tuviera promises AlDub fans that Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza will appear on Eat Bulaga every now and then despite their busy schedule for Destined To Be Yours.

First, the bad news: Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza are expected to appear fewer times on Eat Bulaga! in the coming months.

Now, the good news: The AlDub love team will have more time to work on their first teleserye on GMA-7 titled Destined To Be Yours.

In a recent roundtable interview with APT Entertainment president and CEO Antonio Tuviera, aka Mr. T, he admitted that AlDub will no longer be as visible on the noontime show because the two will focus on their Kapuso teleserye.

“Mababawasan, dahil nagte-taping three times a week, e,” the well-loved Mr. T explained.

“'Tapos, lalo na ngayon, malapit na siguro, madalas na ang taping, so nababawasan.

“Eventually, after their teleserye, that's the only time na babalik.

“But they will try to appear [on Eat Bulaga] every once or twice a week.

“But definitely, before the launch siguro, kokonti pa nang kokonti.”

Tuviera said they're aware that the fans still want to see their idols on Eat Bulaga, so management will try to have AlDub appear on the country's longest-running noontime show every now and then.

"Naghahanap talaga sila kaya we try to make sure na at least once a week," promised the APT big boss.

RATINGS GAME. Asked if this will affect the ratings of Eat Bulaga!, which goes up against ABS-CBN's It's Showtime, Tuviera responded, “So far, hindi naman talaga ano...

“Kasi, even before AlDub, we were doing very well.

“Kaya lang, when AlDub came into the picture, ibang klase ang nangyari.”

He also stressed, “We cannot really expect [them] to be there always.”

Tuviera said he was happy that their Kalyeserye stars have surpassed the expectations of the public.

He said, “A lot of people were saying then na, 'Siguro hindi 'yan tatagal ng three months, six months.' E, over a year na.”

The phenomenal Alden-Maine love team was discovered on
Eat Bulaga in July 2015.

Since then, they have broken records on Twitter, filled the Philippine Arena with more than 50,000 fans during the
Tamang Panahon concert, earned a slew of endorsement deals, and became part of the successful movies My Bebe Love and Imagine You and Me.

Tuviera is more than thankful for the success that AlDub has reached in less than two years.

He concluded, “I think we were successful in a way na to let them stay there at a certain level, kaya nakakatuwa.”

NEXT ALDUB MOVIE. During the roundtable interview, Tuviera also mentioned that there are plans for another AlDub movie this 2017.

He did not mention specific details but he disclosed that it will not be submitted for consideration to the Metro Manila Film Festival if Vic Sotto joins MMFF 2017.
