Marian Rivera will be back on primetime soon!
She promised this to her followers on Instagram yesterday, February 6.
According to her post, the Kapuso Primetime Queen had a meeting with GMA executives (L-R) Vice President for Drama Redgie Magno, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable, Assistant Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, and Marian's manager Rams David.
She teased that she will finally return to GMA's Telebabad block.
Marian wrote in the caption, "Thank you to my GMA Family who always comes up with so many wonderful offers/projects for me.
"This year it's time to get back to work, and return to primetime... ayieee malapit na! #Exciting."
It has been a while since Marian topbilled a regular teleserye.
Her last full-length teleserye was Carmela: Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Mundong Ibabaw, where she was paired with Alden Richards.
The TV series, which aired in 2014, had a 16-week run.
Marian was supposed to return to the primetime block via the 2015 series The Rich Man's Daughter, where she was supposed to play a lesbian character.
However, the 32-year-old actress became pregnant with her first child with husband Dingdong Dantes.
Marian had to withdraw from the project because of her delicate condition. She was replaced by Rhian Ramos.
In 2016, the actress returned to work and resumed her hosting duties in the Sunday variety-comedy show Sunday Pinasaya.
In May 2016, Marian hosted her own talk show titled Yan Ang Morning, which aired until August.
She also had a two-week participation in the telefantasya Encantadia as Reyna Mine-a in July with Dingdong.
