Solenn Heussaff is glad to be part of another comedy show titled Full House Tonight.
After her stint in GMA-7's defunct sitcom A1 Ko Sa 'Yo, the TV host-actress will be part of the Kapuso late-night weekly show that features comedy skits and production numbers.
“Masaya ako sa show na ito kasi comedy din,” she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an interview after the show's press conference held last Tuesday, February 7.
She added, “Masaya ‘yong buong cast. We all get along kahit we all just met din.
“Na-experience ko ‘yon sa A1, na it’s fun to know the people that you get along with. Before din [sa ibang shows], pero mas mahirap sa taping kasi mas mahaba ‘yong hours, mas pagod kayo, mas may waiting time.
“But when it’s a show that happens once in every two weeks at mas short ang taping, mas may time kayo para mag-bonding kasi mas mataas ‘yong energy din.”
The 31-year-old Kapuso star admitted that she still has a long way to go before being considered a comedienne.
“I’m really excited to be part of this din... It’s a learning process din kasi hindi ako talaga komedyante,” said Solenn.
However, she was quick to add that for this show, “I can make fun of myself. Game din naman ako sa iba if they make fun of me.
“Hindi naman ako maarte sa ganun. Kahit anong gawin ko, hindi naman ako maarte sa ganun.
“I think I’ll be able to ride along the way.”
In Full House Tonight, Solenn will be joined by Regine Velasquez, Joross Gamboa, Miguel Tanfelix, and Bianca Umali.
Comedians such as Philip Lazaro, Kim Idol, Nar Cabico, Terry Gian, Sarah Brakensiek, and Tammy Brown will show their comic flair to add more fun to the show.
Directed by Louie Ignacio, Full House Tonight will cap off Saturday night with quality music, comedy and all-around entertainment beginning February 8 after Magpakailanman on GMA-7.
