Marian Rivera is very excited for her teleserye comeback after a two-year absence on primetime.
The Kapuso actress considers this upcoming TV series as her way of repaying GMA Network which supported her when she prioritized family life and motherhood.
"Like itong soap na ito na sinabi nilang two and a half years na akong wala sa primetime, so it's about time na bumalik na uli ako."
While Marian Rivera cannot yet divulge details about her upcoming show, she disclosed that the show has a genre that is child-friendly.
The 32-year-old actress exclaimed, "Super, dahil grabe yung concept na binigay sa akin ng GMA, sobrang namiss ko siyang gawin, e. Pambata siya."
She also said that she is not sure yet about her fellow cast members on the TV show.
Marian said she doesn't interfere with the decision of the production team when it comes to casting.
Marian talked with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and select entertainment reporters during the February 16 set visit of Dear Uge, where she will topbill the comedy-anthology's anniversary presentation.
In this episode to be aired on February 26, Marian will co-star with her real-life friend Boobay.
NO TO INTIMATE SCENES.
Marian's family, especially her daughter Zia, still remains her top priority.
As a result, Marian requested that the locations are only within Metro Manila.
The actress reasoned out, "May anak ako, what if kailangan niya ako ng madalian, paano ako makakapunta?"
In addition, Marian said she is now hesitant to do steamy scenes in teleseryes mainly because she is already a mother.
Alangan namang makipag-ganon pa ako, 'day! May anak na ako at lahat lahat!"
It may be recalled that she shot steamy scenes with perennial onscreen partner and now husband Dingdong Dantes in only three TV shows.
These were MariMar (2007), Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang (2009), and My Beloved (2012).
She also had a few kissing scenes with Alden Richards for her last teleserye Carmela in 2014.
Parang huwag na, tapos na," she ended with a smile.
