New Kapuso shows rule AGB Nielsen Philippines ratings

Gladys Guevarra (Magic Kamison) and Manilyn Reynes (Mga Kuwento ni Lola Basyang) have shown they can anchor primetime shows on television.

Magic Kamison replaced Kapuso Movie Festival while and Lola Basyang replaced Ang Mahiwagang Baul.

Last Sunday, with the pilot episode of the first story ng Magic Kamison that starred Nadine Samonte, Iwa Moto, and Alfred Vargas, the Regal-based title rated an 18.5 percent. This is according to the official overnight ratings in Mega Manila conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines.

Ang pilot episode ng Mga Kuwento Ni Lola Basyang na "Mahiwagang Kuba," starring Jennylyn Mercado and Patrick Garcia, registered a 23.7 percent rating against ABS-CBN's TV Patrol World which registered at 13 percent.

Nang nag-last episode last week ang Mahiwagang Baul with a back-to-back replayed episodes, it still won against TV Patrol World, 19 percent versus 17 percent.

Panalo rin ang mga pre- at post-programming shows ng dalawang Kapuso piloting shows. SOP got 17.4 percent against ASAP's 13.6 percent bago mag-Magic Kamison. S-Files posted a 14.4 percent rating against The Buzz's 12.2 percent bago naman nag-Lola Basyang.
