ABS-CBN has unveiled the new shows that viewers can expect this 2017.
One of these is La Luna Sangre topbilled by Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. It is the sequel of the 2010 fantasy series Imortal.
Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson's comeback as the Kimerald love team is also finally happening via Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin.
These were unveiled during the trade event of the Kapamilya network with the theme "Ikaw Ang Sunshine Ko." It was held at the SMX Convention Center yesterday, March 30.
TV SHOWS. Several love teams will also put to test into acting as they provide supporting but major roles in their first official teleseryes as partners. These include the tandems of Sofia Andres and Diego Loyzaga as well as Elisse Joson and McCoy de Leon.
Here are the five teleseryes that Kapamilya viewers can look forward to this second quarter of 2017.
La Luna Sangre
An official teaser has been finally released for this upcoming third installment of the Lobo series starring the Kathniel love team.
The teaser showef key scenes from the two previous installments of the Angel Locsin-starrer with her two leading men: Piolo Pascual in Lobo (2008) and John Lloyd Cruz in Imortal (2010).
Daniel and Kathryn then both emerged from dark bushes wearing fight suits. It can also be seen that Daniel is sporting a longer hairstyle.
Daniel's character attacked Kathryn's character with his arnis. The two then performed the Filipino martial arts style Pekiti-Tirsia Kali.
This all happened with the Sharon Cuneta song "Hanggang Dulo" being played in the background.
Angel and John Lloyd are also expected to reprise their roles as Mateo and Lia at the pilot week of this La Luna Sangre.
Cathy Garcia-Molina will direct this upcoming series produced by Star Creatives. It may be recalled that Direk Cathy also directed the original Lobo series with FM Reyes.
Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin
Aside from Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson's comeback, Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin also brings back the rivalry between Gerald and Jake Cuenca, which was first seen in Sana Maulit Muli and Tayong Dalawa.
It was seen in the trailer shown during the launch that Kim and Gerald's characters are young sweethearts who participate in triathlons.
Kim promised Gerald, "Hinding hindi na tayo magkakahiwalay."
Later on, Gerald and Jake's characters are seen being bitter rivals in triathlons.
Unlike the first teaser where the song "Ang Iibigin Ay Ikaw" was used, this trailer had the song "How Did You Know" as its theme song performed by Daryl Ong.

Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin is directed by Dan Villegas under Dreamscape Entertainment.
Pusong Ligaw serves as Beauty Gonzales's comeback on TV after her pregnancy and Bianca King's first Kapamilya series. It explores the beauty of fashion and modeling industry.
The full trailer shown during the trade event uses the song originally performed by Jericho Rosales as its title. However, for this series, it was sung by Jona.
Beauty and Bianca are cast as friends who dream of entering the fashion world. However, their friendship ends when they loved the same man – played by Joem Bascon.
After seeing her friend in bed with Joem, Beauty's character leaves town and goes to Manila. She gives birth to her child whom she named Rafael. However, the baby was kidnapped.
Years later, Beauty gets married to the character played by Raymond Bagatsing and bears a child who will be portrayed by Enzo Pineda.
Meanwhile, Rafael grows up with another family and identity portrayed by Diego Loyzaga.
On the other hand, Bianca has a daughter played by Sofia Andres. Sofia's character dreams of being a fashion designer which her mom opposes. Sofia also idolizes Beauty, which angers her mom even more.
Sofia leaves their house and lives under one roof with Diego where they shared surprising moments such as Sofia seeing Diego naked while taking a bath.
No airing date has been announced for this series under Star Creatives. However, the show's tagline "Mga bagong mukha, ipapakita nila ang bagong bihis ng ating hapon" indicates this will be an afternoon series in the Kapamilya Gold block.
Kung Kailangan Mo Ako
A short teaser was also unveiled for this series which topbills three popular love teams: ElNella (Elmo Magalona and Janella Salvador), NLex (Nash Aguas and Alexa Ilacad), and McLisse (Mccoy De Leon and Elisse Joson).
It also serves as the comeback of Eula Valdes on ABS-CBN.
Elmo and Janella take on major roles in this family drama where they will also figure in a love triangle with Joshua Garcia.
As seen in the teaser, Elmo and Joshua are brothers who have the same father, played by John Estrada. However, it can be seen on Elmo's face that he doesn't seem happy being with them.
It also looked like that John is married to Eula and has two sons: Elmo and Nash Aguas.
There is also one scene in the teaser where Eula looked at Mylene Dizon's character with John in the middle.
No particular airing date was also announced for this show under the Dreamscape Entertainment unit.
The Promise of Forever
The trailer of this series, which stars Ritz Azul and Paulo Avelino, was also shown during the trade launch last December.
Paulo's character Lorenzo is tagged as the "lalaking walang kamatayan."
In a short teaser uploaded in Dreamscape's Facebook account, Lorenzo will fall in love with Sophia (Ritz) but his curse of immortality stops him from pursuing his love for the girl.
Dreamscape has been constantly uploading promo materials of The Promise of Forever, including behind-the-scenes videos and photos.
They also announced that this show directed by Darnel Villaflor and Hannah Espia will air this April.
SUMMER STATION ID. The network's summer station ID theme song, "Ikaw Ang Sunshine Ko," was first heard during the trade event.
It is not yet confirmed who officially sang the song, but this was performed last night by Boyband PH and Kapamilya teens including Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7 big winner Maymay Entrata, Kisses Delavin, Sue Ramirez, Kristel Fulgar, Alexa Ilacad, Kira Balinger, and Ylona Garcia.
Bea Alonzo and Ian Veneracion, now known as TonDeng because of their characters Anton and Andeng in A Love To Last, also performed a song number.
Marlo Mortel also played games in one of the booths in the event and announced that he is set to host an educational TV show soon.
I Can Do That finalists Daniel Matsunaga, Gab Valenciano, Sue Ramirez, and Pokwang also performed their acts last Sunday, March 26, at the trade launch.
Of course, Cristine and Arci also performed their winning, controversial number. It may be recalled that when they rehearsed this number that required them to do aerial stunts, Arci accidentally kicked Cristine's face.
