Marian Rivera show, Mulawin, My Love From The Star airing date revealed

GMA telefantasya Mulawin vs Ravena, Marian Rivera's weekly show Tadhana, and the Filipino remake of My Love From The Star are just three of the TV programs to be launched this summer season. The Kapuso Network's summer campaign has the theme "Kulayan Natin Ang Summer."


GMA-7 unveiled its new programs that are set to air this summer through a station ID launched yesterday, April 11, 2017.

Marian Rivera’s primetime comeback may not be happening yet in the next two months. However, she will host the weekly OFW-themed anthology Tadhana, which will air every Saturday, starting on May 20.

This Marian Rivera TV show aims to pay tribute and depict inspiring stories of Overseas Filipino Workers.

Before she flies as Alwina on primetime, Heart Evangelista will be seen in her reality show Follow Your Heart. It will air its pilot episode on April 23 as part of the Kapuso network’s Sunday afternoon line-up.

Follow Your Heart is a docu-reality show wherein celebrity reel and real-life couples take on the challenge to immerse as parents to their adoptive children.

No exact date has been revealed yet for this series, which also topbills Kapuso love teams Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix, and Bea Binene and Derrick Monasterio.

However, it is rumored that it will replace the requel of Encantadia, which is currently airing on GMA.

It may be recalled that MLFTS is also a part of GMA’s first quarter program launches. The remake also stars Glydel Mercado, Rhian Ramos, Jackie Rice, Christian Bautista, Lindsay De Vera, and Starstruck 6 Ultimate Male Survivor Migo Adecer.


The 2017 version of Impostora, a remake of GMA’s 2007 teleserye and the 1994 film Minsan May Isang Pangarap, will also air it pilot episode this May.

Kris Bernal portrays the role previously played by Alice Dixson in the movie (which was the inspiration from Iza Calzado and Sunshine Dizon’s characters in the 2007 TV series). This show is Kris's first drama series after renewing her contract with GMA.

She is paired with Rafael Rosell for this teleserye to be aired in GMA Afternoon Prime block.

GMA News and Public Affairs also produces a daily afternoon dramedy series titled D’ Originals topbilled by LJ Reyes, Kim Domingo, and Jaclyn Jose.

The show will air its pilot episode this Monday, April 17, replacing Pinulot Ka Lang Sa Lupa.


Gloria Romero’s weekly fantasy series Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko is also scheduled to air this April 30 on GMA’s Sunday primetime. The series also stars Kapuso child wonders Jillian Ward, David Remo, Chlaui Malayao, and Julius Erasga.
