Eugene Domingo is very much open to have her boyfriend, Danilo Bottoni, as a guest on her returning game show Celebrity Bluff.
Unfortunately, when they taped the first episodes of the late-night weekend show, her Italian boyfriend was not in the Philippines.
“Oo, hindi lang talaga nataon na nandito siya noong nag-taping kami.
“Pero he was willing to play with us kung may mga comedy skits.
“Okay naman 'yon, trooper naman yun,” Eugene told entertainment reporters during the press conference of Celebrity Bluff held recently.
She added, “Hopefully, umabot kami until next year. Kakabisita lang kasi niya."
According to the Kapuso TV host-actress, her boyfriend who works as a film critic is aware of her job in local showbiz.
On his next trip to Manila, Eugene hopes to bring him to work.
She said, “Isa 'yon ang isa sa mga gusto ko kasi tuwang-tuwa siya kapag nakikita niya ako sa TV.
“At saka kuwela rin siya. Baka nga sumikat pa 'yon, magulat na lang ako!”
NEW CO-HOST. For this new season, Eugene will have Edu Manzano as her new co-host.
The Dear Uge actress recalled, “Tinanong nga nila ako, 'In-invite namin si Edu Manzano, sana mapagbigyan niya tayo.' Sabi ko, 'Ha?! Sige, sige, ipagdarasal ko 'yan.'”
Eugene is honored to have Edu as a co-host because of his past experiences in hosting game shows.
“Kasi talagang para sa akin ay game show master host siya, e,” she said.
“Isang malaking karangalan para sa akin at marami pa akong natututunan.
“'Tapos biglang nakasama mo yung isang mas senior sa'yo... Hindi ko sinasabing matanda na si Edu, 'no? Linawin natin 'yan.”
She even praised Edu by saying, “In fact, habang tumatanda si Edu, mas lalo siyang sumasarap.
“Kasi, iniingatan niya ang sarili niya. He's very healthy and talagang lagi siyang ano, nakaporma siya. Hindi siya papahuli kay Alden [Richards].”
Asked about her experience co-hosting with Edu, Eugene described it by saying, “Natural na natural. Natural na masaya, natural na matalino.
“Ang cute niya, di ba?
“Talagang napaka-smooth ng taping, walang ka-pressure-pressure.”
