Gabbi Garcia admits that she will definitely miss a lot now that the GMA-7 primetime series Encantadia has come to an end.
The 18-year-old Kapuso talent felt a mix of emotions after watching the show's finale at a viewing party last May 19 with co-stars Kylie Padilla, Sanya Lopez, and Glaiza de Castro.
"This is one of the show that feels so fulfilling at the end," Gabbi told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
"It's a roller coaster of emotions—partly sad, partly happy, partly excited for the exit project. Basta...I'm just really fulfilled."
Gabbi went to the Black Market in Makati City after the show's viewing party to celebrate Cosmopolitan Philippines' 20th anniversary party where PEP.ph got the chance to interview her.
The Kapuso teen star said there's one thing that she will definitely be longing for: "I'm gonna miss my character so much, yun yung mami-miss ko. I'm gonna have a hard time detaching from my character."
The actress expressed her gratitude towards the creative team behind Encantadia—including the show's creator by Suzette Doctolero and director Mark Reyes—for giving her role a great character arc.
Gabbi narrated, "I'm happy with her character growth, super thank you so much to Encantadia for giving her that character growth."
The GMA Artist Center talent also added that she personally learned a lot from her character.
She pointed out, "Her personality and how she handles every situation. She just inspired me so much. She inspire me to become stronger and to have the purest heart.
"Iba kasi mag-handle ng situation si Alena, her character growth is exceptional e, from being the weakest to being the strongest in the end as the Hara of Lireo."
She added, "Kung sino pa yung ina-understimate nila na sang-gre, kung sino pa yung pinaka-na-hurt na sang'gre, in the end, she used that energy to be stronger."
Meanwhile, netizens were abuzz after watching Encantadia's finale which hinted for a possible season 2 after a new character was revealed.
Some fans are already clamoring for a second season and Gabbi said she'd definitely up for it if the network decides to pursue it.
"Nakikita ko yung petitions online and go lang guys!," The actress said.
She continued, "Ako din, siyempre napamahal din ako sa cast and sa production, sa story itself and sa characters.
"Oo naman, I'm game to do a Season 2 pero it's still up to the management, of course.
"Pero if you ask me, personally I really want to."
SEASON 2. Encantadia director Mark Reyes hinted about the second season of Encantadia by posting a photo on his Instagram account.
One-third of the photo shows the cast of the original 2006 telefantasya. One-third of the photo shows the group shot of the cast members while the remaining portion shows the ice queen seen in the finale episode. Solenn Heussaff portrayed the ice queen who is the twin sister of Cassiopeia.

NEW PROJECT? Currently, Gabbi is planning a well-deserved trip to the United States.
As for her TV comeback, she pointed out, "Meron na but it's still a secret. I'm gonna take a break muna this June.
"I'm gonna be going to the U.S. first to have a vacation and when I get back, work work na ulit."
Gabbi plans to visit a lot of tourist destinations in the U.S. during her three-week long vacation.
She told PEP, "I'm going to LA, New York, and magka-Canada din ako.
"So I'm looking forward kasi after one whole year of working on Encantadia, I think I deserve to have a break."
