Cristine Reyes felt hurt when her fire act lost in I Can Do That

Cristine Reyes admitted that she broke down in tears when she lost in ABS-CBN's reality show I Can Do That.

The Kapamilya actress recalled that she and Wacky Viray were holding hands when the winner of I Can Do That was about to be called.

Cristine, who threw fire and spinned fiery poi while blindfolded, said she was hoping that her name would be called as The Greatest Entertainer.

However, the grand prize went to Wacky Kiray who rode a bicycle on a high wire.

"Siyempre, na-hurt ako, nalungkot ako na bakit hindi ako?" admitted Cristine during the June 12 episode of Magandang Buhay.

"Nasa state of shock ako tapos ang ingay na sa studio, lahat nagko-congratulate na sa studio and I was thee left behind, alone with my thoughts na 'why?'

"I was really shocked. Ang dami kong kino-question, 'Bakit?'

"Ang sakit."

How did she accept her loss?

"Yung totoo? Sunday po yun..."

Cristine then narrated that she treated the crew and her fellow iCandidates to a party.

"Kailangan ko humarap na maayos pa rin sa lahat. Pero honestly, pag-uwi ko, bagsak talaga ako.

Her voice broke as she recounted, "Nagkulong ako sa kwarto ko kasi ayoko umiyak. Tapos na ako umiyak."

At that time, her husband Ali Khatibi was not at home since he was in the United States and she could not contact him.

To cope, Cristine took a video of herself crying.

"Binuhos ko sa video ang lahat ng sama ng loob ko saka yung sakit tapos pinadala ko kay Ali.

"Hindi ko rin nakakausap ang mommy ko, wala akong matakbuhan. Nag-message ako sa mother-in-law ko."
