The episode will be aired this Saturday, June 17.
This marks the first time that Diether will appear in the Kapuso network after being with ABS-CBN and TV5.
The 43-year-old actor started his career as a Kapamilya and became a part of the youth-oriented series Gimik.
He was also known for being the third wheel in Claudine Barretto-Rico Yan projects in the TV show Mula sa Puso (1997) and the movie Dahil Mahal na Mahal Kita (1998).
In 2002, Diether got his first solo teleserye which was the afternoon series Recuerdo de Amor.
In his succeeding projects, the actor played leading men to various actresses: Maricel Soriano, Kristine Hermosa, Bea Alonzo, Angel Locsin, and Angelica Panganiban.
In 2008, it was reported that Diether would be transferring to GMA-7. He was even rumored to play one of the leading men of Sunshine Dizon and Iza Calzado in the Filipino adaptation of Korean drama All About Eve. However, the deal did not push through.
Diether continued to do teleseryes with ABS-CBN until 2013, with Apoy sa Dagat as his last project.
In 2015, after more than a year of absence from television, Diether was supposed to work with Judy Ann Santos in the series Someone To Watch Over Me.
However, the project was shelved after Judy Ann got pregnant.
A year later, in February 2016, Diether was reunited with Claudine in the short-lived TV series Bakit Manipis Ang Ulap that aired on TV5.
No formal announcement has been made yet if Diether will transfer to GMA Network.
