Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla had a lot of physical preparations for the upcoming fantasy-action series La Luna Sangre.
During the press conference of the ABS-CBN show, Kathryn revealed that she and Daniel had a lot of strenuous activities, especially when they underwent martial arts training.
Daniel said he is proud of his love team partner since she easily learned the moves.
The 22-year-old actor said about Kathryn, "Ang dali niyang makuha yung mga tinuturo, yung choreography ng instructor namin.
"Very natural, I'm very proud of her! Totoo yun, ha."
In fact, Kathryn manifested what she learned through their first teaser wherein the two had a martial arts showdown.
He continued, "At saka noong unang trailer namin, di ba, naglalaban kami.
E, gusto niya, ayun."
For her part, Kathryn pointed out that her rumored boyfriend took care of her during their trainings.
She said, "Yung pag-alaga, nandoon yun parati, and yung pinaka-okay, siya kasi nagtuturo sa akin.
La Luna Sangre, which airs weeknights on ABS-CBN, serves as the third installment of Lobo (2008) and Imortal (2010).
Imortal stars Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz had a special participation in the pilot week while Richard Gutierrez made his first appearance as a Kapamilya for this show.
This new KathNiel series is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, who also helmed their 2013 TV series Got To Believe.
