Ken Chan: "Whatever happens to Meant To Be, I'm very ready."

Ken Chan won't mind if he doesn't win as Barbie Forteza's ultimate partner in the finale episode of Meant To Be.

In an interview with the GMA-7 actor during their thanksgiving press conference, he said being chosen as Barbie's “ka-Meant To Be” in the show does not necessarily mean he's better among the four leading men.

In this show, the characters of Ken, Jak Roberto, Addy Raj, and Ivan Dorschner are competing to win the heart of Billie, played by Barbie.

“Hindi naman kung sino ang mapiling ka-meant to be ni Billie ay siya na ang bida,” said Ken.

“Lahat kami rito ay pantay-pantay.

“Sa amin naman, hindi ko nakikita na unfair kung sino man ang magiging ka-meant to be.

“Kasi, lahat kami dito ay nakapag-share ng istorya rito sa Meant To Be. For me, yun ang pinakaimportante.”

He also assured fans that, “Whatever happens to Meant To Be, I'm very ready.

“So maraming nakaka-relate sa istorya niya.”

Won't he feel demoted if he's not chosen to be Barbie's partner in the end?

Ken is glad that what was supposed to be a six-week show aired on TV for six months.

Meant To Be is supposed to air six weeks lang, pero na-extend kami up to six months.

Sobrang nakaka-touch and we're just really happy.”

Meant To Be also helped to widen their respective fan bases, said Ken.

Meant To Be is Ivan and Addy's first teleserye.

An online poll is ongoing for viewers to help Billie choose who will be her “ka-Meant To Be.”

The combined results of this poll and the final discussion of the show's producers will determine the ultimate “ka-Meant To Be” of Billie, which will be announced on the series finale next Friday, June 23.
