Carmi Martin, Roderick Paulate reunite after 26 years for Wansapantaym

80s dance duo Roderick Paulate and Carmi Martin, and PBB Lucky 7 love team Kisses Delavin and Marco Gallo will play important roles in Wansapanataym: Amazing Ving starring Awra Briguela.

80s TV dance duo Carmi Martin and Roderick Paulate are set to be seen together after two decades.

They will play the parents of Awra Briguela in an upcoming installment of Wansapanataym titled Amazing Ving.

This was announced by Dreamscape Entertainment AdProm Manager Eric John Salut yesterday, July 10.

He wrote in the caption, "Pagkatapos ng dalawang dekada, may magbabalik! Abangan sina Dick and Carmi! MALAPIT na!"

This serves as Carmi and Roderick's reunion 26 years after their show, Tonight with Dick and Carmi, ended its run.

The dance-variety show used to air on ABS-CBN from 1988 to 1991.

After the show was cancelled, Carmi focused on being an actress while Roderick continued hosting TV shows for ABS-CBN and GMA-7.

KISSMARC. Wansapantaym: Amazing Ving also serves as the first TV show of Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7 teen love team Kisses Delavin and Marco Gallo.

They will portray Awra's bullies in the Sunday fantasy program which will air starting on July 23.

Aside from Wansapanataym, Kisses and Marco are also busy shooting their film Loving In Tandem with Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber.

Ellen Adarna is also set to play a special role in Wansapanataym: Amazing Ving.

Meanwhile, FPJ's Ang Probinsyano lead actor Coco Martin congratulated his "baby" Awra for his new project through an Instagram post.

He wrote, "Pakaabangan ang pinaka bagong SUPERHERO ng ating Bayan... lilipad na!!! THE AMAZING VING... every sunday 8pm sabay sabay po tayo manood mga kapamilya. Congrats Baby ko!!!"

Currently, Awra is also part of FPJ's Ang Probinsyano and Coco's upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival entry Ang Panday.
