Missed Pirena and Lira? They are set to return to television as Glaiza de Castro and Mikee Quintos reprise their Encantadia roles in GMA-7's Mulawin vs. Ravena.

Two characters from Encantadia 2016 will soon be seen in GMA-7's telefantasya Mulawin vs. Ravena.

An article published by GMANetwork.com announced last night, July 17, that Glaiza de Castro and Mikee Quintos are set to reprise their roles as Pirena and Lira, respectively, in the Kapuso telefantasya.

However, it has yet to be announced what role they will play in the world of Mulawins.

It may be recalled that the kingdom of Encantadia was first introduced in the 2004 version of Mulawin starring Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez.

At that time, the characters in Encantadia were portrayed by G. Toengi, Sheryl Cruz, and Nancy Castiliogne.

The following year, in 2005, a separate series about Encantadia was aired with Sunshine Dizon, Iza Calzado, Karylle, Diana Zubiri, and Dingdong Dantes as lead actors.

Crossovers of both characters from Mulawin and Encantadia were seen in theĀ Encantadia series and in Mulawin: The Movie (2005).

Meanwhile, in the 2016 version, two Mulawin characters were seen: Pagaspas (Miguel Tanfelix) and Lakan (Alden Richards).

However, it was only Pagaspas who remained in Mulawin vs. Ravena, which served as the sequel of the 2004 series.
