Now that they're both in GMA-7, real-life sisters Angelika and Mika dela Cruz finally worked together for a TV show.
The two Kapuso actresses will appear as guests in the comedy anthology Dear Uge, hosted by Eugene Domingo.
They shot their scenes together with My Love From The Star actor Gil Cuerva last August 20.
Angelika wrote in her Instagram post, "Goodmorning! Dear Uge taping today. 1st time naming umarte na magkasama ni @mikadlacruz stage ate is excited"
According to another post of Angelika, Korean actor and My Korean Jagiya star Alexander Lee is part of the K-Drama-themed episode.
Mika also shared on Instagram how excited she is to share scenes with Ate for the first time.
She wrote, "#DearUge taping today this is our first time working together kaya sobrang excited kami! i love you @angelikadelacruz abangan niyo po ang super nakakatawa na episode na ito!! pang comedy pala tayo ate eh"
Both actresses were originally talents of ABS-CBN.
However, they did not have the chance to work together since Angelika transferred to ABS-CBN in December 2007.
This happened a year after Mika won second place in Star Circle Summer Kid Quest (2006).
This is also Angelika's first Dear Uge episode after she returned to acting last June via Ika-6 Na Utos.
She took a leave from showbiz in July 2016 to focus on her second baby.
On the other hand, it was in November 2016 when Mika left ABS-CBN and signed up with GMA.
Their Dear Uge episode, which is titled "K Drama Rama," will be aired this Sunday, September 3.
It will revolve around K-Pop fanatic Rona (Mika) who dreams of meeting Dong Hyeon (Gil), her Korean actor idol.
Her obsession with K-Dramas also became the subject of her arguments with her elder sister Justhine (Angelika).
However, Rona is willing to do everything just to see her Korean idol in person, even if it means sacrificing her own time and health.
SAILORMOON THROWBACK. Meanwhile, Angelika will also bring Sailor Moon fans on a trip down memory lane!
The 35-year-old actress-singer shot an episode of Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho where she will be heard singing the Filipino theme song of Sailor Moon, a popular anime aired in the country during the '90s.
She shared some snapshots of her shoot with the magazine show on Instagram.
The Ika-6 Na Utos actress wrote, "Natatandaan nyo pa ba ang Sailormoon? E yung theme song na kinanta ko? @km_jessica_soho #pabagets #throwback #sailormoon"
In 1994, ABC-5 tapped Angelika to perform the Tagalog version of the anime's theme song "Moonlight Densetsu," which had the Filipino title "Sana'y Madama."
This jumpstarted Angelika's career and led to her inclusion in the 1995 movie Nights of Serafina. ABS-CBN then saw her potential and she was included in Book 2 of Mara Clara, starring Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes.
