TV5 actor Martin Escudero recently did guestings with his former mother network GMA-7. Does this mean that he is making a comeback as a Kapuso?

Is Martin Escudero staging a comeback on GMA-7 soon?

The StarStruck: The Next Level winner appeared in the September 2 episode of the Kapuso sitcom Pepito Manaloto: Ang Tunay na Kwento as a special guest.

He was joined by freelance actress Bernadette Allysson-Estrada.

Last August 25, Martin revealed through his Instagram account that he taped a guesting for GMA News TV's primetime talk show Mars hosted by Suzy Entrata and Camille Prats-Yambao.

He wrote, "Guesting sa #gma ! #mars"

These appearances fueled speculations that Martin will return to his former home network.

From 2011 to 2017, Martin was a contract artist of TV5.

He was tapped to be the leading man in teleseryes such as Babaeng Hampaslupa (2011), Glamorosa (2011), Enchanted Garden (2012), Positive (2013), and Obsession (2014)

His last TV show with the Kapatid network was the variety program Happy Hour, aired in 2016.

Prior to transferring to TV5, Martin was a Kapuso, using the screen name Mart Escudero.

He won the Ultimate Love Team title with Kris Bernal in Starstruck: The Next Level in 2006.

However, his tandem with Jennica Garcia became a staple in GMA projects like Impostora (2007), Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig (2007), Ako Si Kim Sam Soon (2008), and Gagambino (2009).

Before joining StarStruck, Martin was originally a talent of ABS-CBN using the name Marc Butler.

He was able to do two shows as a Kapamilya: Mga Anghel na Walang Langit (2005) and Qpids (2005).

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in February 2017, Martin hinted that he might transfer to another TV network after his contract ends with TV5.
