Former Pinoy Big Brother teen housemate Josef Elizalde is now a talent of Viva Artists Agency.
The former Star Magic talent signed a talent management contract with VIVA on August 1, 2017.
In an interview with VIVA's online talk show Anong Ganap posted on the company's website, the 26-year-old actor said, "I'm really honored and blessed to be part of VIVA, na tinanggap nila ako.
"This is the best for my career, and in return naman siyempre gagawin ko rin yung best ko naman."
When Josef was asked to name the artist he wants to work with now that he is with VIVA, he only has one person in mind: Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo.
He explained, "Napakahusay na artista. Kahit hindi naman yung major role pero to be part of her movie, it's a blessing."
It was not mentioned if Josef will still be seen in shows of ABS-CBN or if he will transfer to rival network, GMA-7.
Josef was recently a contestant in the "Jak En Poy" segment of Eat Bulaga! together with other VIVA talents Issa Pressman, Mayton Eugenio, and Marco Gumabao.
Josef was last seen in the ABS-CBN daytime series Pusong Ligaw, where he had a recurring role.
He started his showbiz career in 2008 by joining Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus. His batchmates were Robi Domingo, Beauty Gonzales, and Ejay Falcon.
During his stint in the reality show, Josef became romantically involved with fellow PBB housemate Nicole Uysiuseng. Their closeness became controversial because Josef had a girlfriend outside the PBB house.
When PBB ended, Josef immediately became part of the 2008 local adaptation of the Korean drama My Girl, starring Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson.
Josef's past Kapamilya teleseryes include: Magkaribal (2010), Precious Hearts Romances: Kristine (2010), Precious Hearts Romances: Mana Po (2011), and Angelito: Batang Ama (2011), and All Of Me (2015).
He was also a part of the 2016 Star Cinema movie Just The 3 of Us, starring John Lloyd Cruz and Jennylyn Mercado.
