Paglilinaw ni Chot, “I would like to announce very briefly that TV5 is bringing ESPN back to the Philippines.

“There’s a collaboration called ESPN5. So sa mga nagtatanong, no, TV5 is not dead.

Dagdag pa ni Chot, “Now under TV5 is ESPN5, News5, Digital5. So, ESPN has taken over what used to be Sports5.

“ESPN5 is the brand that we are going to use. We are very, very excited.

"We are making big stories to show that we are the authority in sports in the Philippines, in the country.

“We wanted to cement that dominance, being the top sports brand in the country.”
