Lovi Poe, Rhian Ramos, and Max Collins recently gave "blind items" about their ex-boyfriends.

They discussed this during the presscon for their new GMA-7 primetime series, The One That Got Away, previously known by the hashtag "#Kuwentuhang Ex."

According to Lovi, trading stories about their past romances made it easier for the three of them to establish rapport on- and off-screen.

Lovi began, “We had materials to shoot. Ang pinag-usapan talaga namin yung mga exes namin, yung mga experiences, so ang hirap na hindi balikan.

“Ang dami na namin na-share, ang dami na namin alam sa isa’t isa.”

However, Rhian made it clear that their respective exes won’t feel like they were used for the publicity of this project.

“We made it a point not to specifically mention names.

“Hindi naman siguro nila mapi-feel na ginamit namin sila sa promo or something.

“If you’re friends with us then you’d automatically know who it is.

“But if you’re not you might have a hard time guessing which one.

“So, batu-bato sa langit pa lang. Kung feeling nila ako yun...”

Lovi, Rhian, and Max were introduced as the lead stars of the Kapuso soap The One That Got Away during an intimate presscon held at the GMA Network Center.

FRIENDS WITH AN EX. Lovi—who has had “three and a half” number of ex-boyfriends—was first to say that she’s okay with being friends with an ex-boyfriend.

She explained, “At one point, you shared a life together—kung ilang taon man, ilang buwan kayong nagsama.

“Some people are meant to just love each other separately. They’re better people when they’re not together.

“So, I think it’s ok to be friends with them kung hanggang dun lang talaga kayo.”

Lovi is currently in a relationship with French boyfriend Chris Johnson.

Rhian, for her part, spoke about being “super friends” with the ex-girlfriend of the actress’s ex-boyfriend.

“I also believe that it’s ok to be friends with your ex, and it’s also ok to be friends with the ex of your ex.

“Based on personal experience, I’ve had an ex of my ex save me from my an ex, so I’m super friends with her.

“I’m on her side. She’s on my side. Parang it’s like girls looking out for each other.”

Rhian said she had a total of three ex-boyfriends and she seem to have no regrets about those failed romances.

“I’ve learned so much from my relationships. Even if they ended, I still feel like it’s a success. Dahil sa lahat ng natutunan ko, grateful naman ako.”

Rhian is currently in a relationship with non-showbiz boyfriend Jason Choachuy.

CUTTING TIES.
Max, who had a total of three ex-boyfriends, doesn’t believe in staying friends with an ex.

“I’m not friends with any of my exes.

“Sounds so bitter? Hindi naman. Wala lang, hindi lang kami naging friends.

“But I am best friends with someone who was an ex of my ex."

What Max revealed was that she asked permission from her unnamed female friend before dating her first boyfriend.

“Kasi during that time, like, my first boyfriend, before we got together, I knew that he was with this girl that I knew na hindi kami ganun ka-close.

“I also asked her, ‘Is it okay if your ex and I date?’ Ok naman daw.

“So, nung naghiwalay kami nung guy, naging best friends kami ng girl.”

Max is now engaged to be married to Kapuso actor Pancho Magno.

It tells the story of three women who became the best of friends after discovering that they share a common dating history with the same guy.

According to GMA-7 program manager Hazel Abonita, Lovi, Rhian, and Max were handpicked to headline the series because the trio are all dramatic actresses who share the same "level of hotness."

Hazel continued, "We wanted to offer a slightly adult romantic comedy on this slot. More than adult than Meant To Be, a little tamer than Juan Happy Love Story."
