ABS-CBN's afternoon drama series Pusong Ligaw will soon enter its Book Two.

This was revealed by lead actress Beauty Gonzalez in an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during the pocket press conference of Bes and the Beshies last October 17.

She said, "Malapit na kami matapos sa Book One and soon, we will have our Book Two, so maraming kaabang-abang na eksena, maraming mas drama, maraming super kabog na eksena.

"Kasi siyempre, nagsimula yung story with me, Bianca King as Marga, and Joem Bascon. The whole story started with the three of them. Ngayon medyo binabalik."

In the teleserye, Beauty plays Teri Laurel, a renowned fashion designer who becomes involved in a love square among the characters of Bianca King, Joem Bascon, and Raymond Bagatsing.

A teaser introducing the second book of the show showed a flashback of Teri's relationship with Caloy (Joem) when they were still young. However, they broke up when she caught him in bed with Marga (Bianca), her best friend.

Teri ran away from home and married a rich man named Jaime Laurel (Raymond), who turns out to be an abusive husband.

Viewers have been looking forward to the time when Teri finally learns that Potpot (Diego Loyzaga) is her missing son.

When PEP.ph asked the actress if this happening anytime soon, Beauty exclaimed, "Yun ang hindi ko pwedeng sabihin!

She pointed out, "For sure, it's part of the story na malalaman ko siya, pero I don't know kung paano and I don't know kung malalaman ko ba talaga.

"It depends kung anong mangyayari kasi kahit ako hindi ko pa alam."

CONFRONTATION SCENES WITH BIANCA. Pusong Ligaw served as the comeback TV project of Beauty after she temporarily took a break after getting pregnant.

For this reason, the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus fourth big placer is very happy with the outcome of their show.

She happily said, "Mag-one year na kami sa December for taping. It feels so good.

"Naging kapamilya ko na sila lahat and thankful kami, kasi siyempre, wala naman sa amin yung big stars so for a soap to last that long, thank you very much."

The show, which premiered last April 24, is now on its sixth month on the air, which is the usual life span of afternoon teleseryes.

Pusong Ligaw is known for its confrontation scenes, and the heated exchange of words and slaps between the characters of Beauty and Bianca.

However, some fans noticed that their characters have not been engaging in fight scenes lately.

Beauty said with a laugh, "Naku, siyempre may mga kailangan tahakin and darating din tayo diyan, naghahanda na kaming dalawa!"

According to the 26-year-old actress, fight scenes are definitely not an issue between her and Bianca, since they are good friends.

However, there were times when the scenes become too realistic.

Siyempre di mo lang matantsa yung sampal, yung hawak, so it's okay."

DOING COMEDY. Beauty is also happy about getting a breather from doing drama scenes since she did the movie Bes and the Beshies.

This comedy film is already being shown in cinemas nationwide.

The former PBB housemate goes back to her roots by doing comedy.

"Siyempre dun [Pusong Ligaw], everyday drama. Dito, comedy which is good kasi at least before the year ends, nakagawa din ako ng gusto ko.

"Parang pagdating ko sa Pusong Ligaw, ako si Tessa. Pagdating dito, hmmm, ako lang naman dito!"

In fact, it is part of her bucket list to work with Ai-Ai Delas Alas, who plays the main character in this film directed by Joel Lamangan.

Beauty admitted, "It's one of my slashed item in my bucket list because I've been doing comedy for the longest time and it's a privilege na nakatrabaho ko na rin siya finally!

"Apat kami magkabeshies, iba-iba yung story namin tapos pamangkin ako ni Miss Carmi Martin.

"Yung character ko medyo ako rin sa totoong buhay, matanda mag-isip pero makwela. Pero yung difference lang ng character ko dito, mabastos yung bibig nya. Yun lang yung pinagkaiba."

Aside from Ai-Ai and Beauty, the movie also features Carmi Martin and Zsa Zsa Padilla.

A lot of her fans have grown accustomed to seeing Beauty in dramatic roles but there are those who miss seeing her doing comedy.

She said about this, "Ako na-miss ko na rin pero happy din ako sa ABS-CBN for giving me the opportunity to do something na hindi ko ginagawa, and mukhang okay naman so thank you kasi hindi ko rin alam na kaya kong magdrama."

Pusong Ligaw also stars Diego Loyzaga, Sofia Andres, Enzo Pineda, and Albie CasiƱo.
