Anne Curtis hopes her team wins in It's Showtime Magpasikat 2017

Anne Curtis hopes to win in "Magpasikat" for Ryan Bang: "I'm really, really hoping na this year is the year na magpe-place si Ryan Bang. Kung hindi, may balat talaga siya."

“I don't know what to expect.”

This was Anne Curtis's response when (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked her what to expect from Magpasikat 2017 that celebrates It's Showtime's 8th anniversary.

For this year's competition, Anne performed “Love Parade” with co-hosts Nadine Lustre and Ryan Bang.

Although they did their best for their number, Anne does not want to expect anything since the other groups also delivered very competitive performances.

Shepointed out, “You see, each and everyone's performance kasi laging, 'Naku, ito ang mananalo.'

“Then, when you see some other else's performance, 'Naku, ito ang mananalo.'

“It's really hard kasi this year, at the end of the day, we all express love, all of us.

“So, feeling ko, gulung-gulo na yung mga hurado. Paano ba naman kasi iba-ibang flavor ang binigay namin—may millennial, yung sa amin; may theater, yung kina Jhong; may totoong kasalan; 'tapos yung kay Vhong, yung hindi ka nag-iisa.

“Ang ganda, ang ganda lahat.”

Anne, however, hopes to win again in Magpasikat to fulfill her promise to Ryan, who has not yet experienced winning in the annual competition for It's Showtime hosts.

“I'm hoping talaga,” the TV host-actress said with a smile.

“As in siya yung ginawa kong star for this year, e. Siya yung nagbuwis-buhay, hindi ako this year.

“So, I'm really, really hoping na this year is the year na magpe-place si Ryan Bang.

“Kung hindi, may balat talaga siya."

Anne's group also include Chienna Filomeno and Keley Day of Girltrends and Jameson Blake, Vitto Marquez, and Franco Hernandez of Hashtags.

The Magpasikat hurado (judges) are director Rory Quintos, singer Janno Gibbs, actresses Maricel Soriano and Ina Raymundo, and reporter Marc Logan.
