Ariel Rivera says about ABS-CBN: "This is home for me."

What prompted Ariel Rivera to accept a role in an upcoming Kapamilya teleserye and return to ABS-CBN?

Ariel quipped: “Kailangan ko ng pera, e.”

The singer-actor was with GMA Network last year to do two teleseryes: Hahamakin Ang Lahat and Mulawin vs. Ravena.

This 2017, Ariel agreed to be part of the television series starring Sylvia Sanchez and her son Arjo Atayde.

Ariel turned serious as he said, “This is home for me.

"I started dito sa ABS-CBN. I was built up here. I learned the ways here. I’ve always thought this to be my home. Mayroon lang tayo minsang vacation home, napupunta ako sa kabila, but this has always been my home."

During the November 4 media announcement held at the ABS-CBN compound, Ariel revealed the factors that he takes into consideration before agreeing to do a show.

“First and foremost, before I accept any project, it’s always, anong klaseng project, anong role ko.

"I ask first kung anong gagawin ko. I have to have a challenge or enjoy or like the character or the story before anything else,” he pointed out.

Ariel's last Kapamilya show was the 2016 prime-time series Born For You where he was cast as the father of Elmo Magalona’s character.
