Alisah Bonaobra brought down the house on Week 2 of The X Factor UK live shows.
The Filipino singer gave an energetic performance of Jennifer Lopez's "Let’s Get Loud."
This allowed her to get wild cheers from audiences and the four judges of The X Factor UK Season 14.
Former Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger commended Alisah by saying:
“You become this fierce beast, wild animal when you get on that stage.
"You became a Latina-Filipina diva that you are. You make all Filipinos so proud.
"You shut it down tonight, you’re a little firecracker out there.”
Judge Louis Walsh was surprised to see another side of Alisah that night.
He said in disbelief, "Where did that come from?
"At the start of the whole series, I thought you could just sing the big ballads. Now you turn into a little tiger tonight.
“Amazing energy! I love the singing, the dancing. It was fantastic.”
Simon Cowell gave constructive criticism for the Pinay singer and he asked the crowd not to boo him as he did so.
He observed, "There's no messing around with you.
"You are going to have to, at some point, to put your own unique twist on a song. Otherwise, it will be considered cabaret and that won't get you..."
However, he was unable to finish his sentence since he was met with hisses and boos from the crowd. The judge retaliated by shouting, "Shut up!"
Her mentor, Sharon Osbourne, told the Pinay singer, "You are more than a ballad singer. Much, much more. You have so impressed me tonight.
"You've come out of your comfort zone and it was spectacular."
Host Dermot O'Leary talked with Alisah and told her, "Everyone does consider you to be a balladeer."
The runner-up of The Voice PH Season 2 admitted, "This week is something different and this dance for X Factor only."
Alisah, Kevin Davy White, Holly Tandy, Matt Linnen, Grace Davies, and Rai-Elle Williams were the contestants saved by public voting.
For this reason, Tracy Leanne Jefford was eliminated from the reality talent show.
