For the first time, hitmaker-actor Janno Gibbs is seen in a teleserye of ABS-CBN.
He currently plays a guest role in the Kapamilya prime-time series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.
The TV5 contract artist started appearing in the Coco Martin-starrer last November 9.
Janno plays the son of Rico J. Puno, a former rebel who chose a quiet life for his family.
On Instagram, he posted a photo together with the cast of FPJ's Ang Probinsyano: Coco, Senator Lito Lapid, Mark Lapid, and Sancho Vito Delas Alas.
He captioned the post: "Penduko..Guererro..Panday Naki-Angkas lang po"
Janno was referring to the iconic characters his co-actors have portrayed in the movies.
Janno once portrayed Pedro Penduko in the movie Ang Pagbabalik ni Pedro Penduko in 1994, Lito played the title role in Alamat ni Leon Guerrero in 1992.
Meanwhile, Coco is doing his own version of Ang Panday, which is an entry to the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Irma Adlawan plays Janno's mom, while Angeline plays his younger sister who harbors ill feelings towards Cardo (Coco).
It may be recalled that Angeline was a part of the original cast of FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, but she had to back out because of her scheduled singing engagements.
She was then replaced by Maja Salvador, who was given a toally different character.
Janno is still a contract artist of TV5. However, the Kapatid network has allowed him to appear in TV shows of rival networks.
His first teleserye appearance outside the Kapatid network happened via the GMA-7 prime-time series Meant To Be.
Janno appeared in several episodes of ASAP during the first few months of 2017, but this is the first time that Janno did a teleserye for the Kapamilya network.
