Indonesian illusionist The Sacred Riana won Asia's Got Talent Season 2 and earned the grand prize of US$100,000.

Indonesian illusionist The Sacred Riana won Asia’s Got Talent Season 2 against Filipino dance group DMX-Comvaleñoz.

The Sacred Riana, whose real name is Marie Antoinette Riana Graharani, got the most number of votes and took home the grand prize of US$100,000.

DMX Comvaleñoz of Compostela Valley, Mindanao, was among the three Filipino acts that made it to the grand finals of this reality talent search.

The finalists performed “Chasing The Sun” of English-Irish boy band The Wanted for the show’s opening number.

Unfortunately, the Filipino hip-hop dance group Urban Crew was among the first three acts eliminated in the competition along with Indonesia’s harpist Angela July and Taiwan’s child music prodigy Feng E.

Next to be removed were Kyrgyzstan’s ADEM Dance Crew and Malaysia’s illusionist-magician Sobhi Shaker, leaving the final four.

Also eliminated was Mongolia’s dancer and visual artist Canion Shijrbat.

Together with Indonesia’s The Sacred Riana, Philippine bets Neil Rey Garcia Llanes and DMX-Comvaleñoz made it to the top three grand finalists.

However, Filipino beatboxer Neil Rey Garcia Llanes was the last to be eliminated, leaving The Sacred Riana and DMX-Comvaleñoz battling for the grand prize.

In another amazing act by The Sacred Riana, judge Jay Park was chosen to play the Ouija board on a round table and was asked to think about his greatest fear.

“Unhappiness,” his answer to this simple question, was then found written on a wooden board.

One last time, the Filipino bet DMX-Comvaleñoz proved how versatile they are as a dance group through a glittery dance number.

“You’re my guys and you’re my dolls,” David Foster told the Filipino group.

The judges of AGT Season 2 competition performed onstage during the results show.

Sixteen-time Grammy Award winner and hit-maker David Foster performed “Love Theme from St. Elmo’s Fire,” a piano instrumental from his self-titled solo album.

French-Indonesian singer-songwriter Anggun entertained viewers with her latest single “What We Remember” from her latest album titled 8.

Korean-American hip-hop artist Jay Park also performed his latest hit single “Forget About Tomorrow” together with Yultron.

The results show of AGT Season 2, which was held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, aired exclusively on AXN last night, December 14, at 8:30 PM, a week after the grand finals.
