Tristan (Daniel Padilla, right) and Malia (Kathryn Bernardo) were able to defeat Sandrino (Richard Gutierrez) in the final episode of La Luna Sangre.

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla's fantasy series La Luna Sangre aired its final episode on ABS-CBN last Friday, March 2, 2018.

La Luna Sangre concludes the "Moonstone" trilogy that was preceded by Lobo (2008) and Imortal (2010).

#LaLunaTheFinalBattle showed the face-off between brothers Tristan (Daniel Padilla) and Sandrino (Richard Gutierrez).

Tristan told his brother: "Alalahanin mo kung sino ka talaga bago ka nagkaroon ng sumpang tinta."

Malia (Kathryn Bernardo) and members of the LLU (La Liga Unida) found out that Sandrino used a big cell site to hypnotize people and force them to commit suicide.

While members of the LLU tried to stop the people, Malia went to save Tristan and defeat Sandrino.

Tristan and Malia tried to convince Sandrino to let go of his evil self.

Unfortunately, Sandrino's evil spirit prevailed and hurt both Malia and Tristan.

The evil Sandrino tried to end Malia and Tristan's lives.

However, the young couple's power took effect when they held hands, allowing them to defeat Sandrino.

After his evil spirit went out of his body, Sandrino was able to regain his kindness and asked for Tristan and Malia's forgiveness before he took his last breath.

Sandrino told them: "Salamat at iniligtas niyo ako sa aking sarili.

"Mahal kita, kapatid ko."

Meanwhile, Jake (Tony Labrusca) went to the cell site and tried to destroy it.

However, he was stopped by the cell site's vampire protector, Jill Imperial (Dominic Roque).

The two engaged in a fight, and in the end, Jake was able to defeat him and destroy the cell tower by throwing a bomb.

People were able to regain their consciousness after the cell site was destroyed.

In the end, peace was restored between wolves and vampires, and Malia & Tristan ended up being together.
