BATTLE OF TRANSFORMATIONS: Encantadia versus Bagani

In Bagani, the characters of Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano (left frame) underwent some changes. In Encatandia, the characters of Kylie Padilla and Glaiza de Castro had a drastic transformation.

Netizens have seen a point of comparison between ABS-CBN’s fantaserye Bagani and GMA-7's telefantasya Encantadia.

BAGANI. One of the highlights of the new Kapamilya prime-time series involves the transformations of the lead characters.

In Bagani, Apo (Diether Ocampo) bestowed magical weapons that will enable the protagonists to save and protect Sansinukob.

Lakas (Enrique Gil), Lakam (Matteo Guidicelli), Dumakulem (Makisig Morales), Mayari (Sofia Andres), and Ganda (Liza Soberano) are facing great threats from Ama (Robert Sena), Lakam’s father.

In the March 23 episode of Bagani, viewers were able to see Dumakulem (Makisig) receive the "arnis ni Liwliwa" that can bring to life anything in the land.

Mayari (Sofia) received the "kalasag ng Kataw" that can protect the people of Sansinukob.

Lakam (Matteo) got the "palakol ni Bernardo Karpio" that can destroy anything even mountains.

The "pana ni Makiling" was given to Ganda (Liza) that can kill opponents at any distance.

Lakas received the "espada ni Minokawa" that can give him extraordinary strengths and speed in battle.

When a hero received his/her weapon, s/he is lifted from the ground as s/he spins in the air. There is a bright light that emanates from the top and when they stop spinning, it is seen that their clothes have changed and so have their weapons.

ENCANTADIA. This sequence reminded some viewers of the transformation scene that Sang'gres went through in Encantadia.

In this Kapuso prime-time series, the royal diwatas faced Imaw, the head chief of Adamya.

Amihan (Kylie Padilla), Alena (Gabbi Garcia), Danaya (Sanya Lopez), and Pirena (Glaiza de Castro) all transformed while being spun around.

They initially wore gowns but these were changed to their battle gear as they were rotating.

Symbols representing their respective elements were incorporated into the scene.

PEPsters, what can you say about the transformation scenes of Bagani and Encantadia?
