After winning Asia’s Got Talent, The Sacred Riana is now out to conquer America’s Got Talent.
The creepy illusionist and magician appeared on the pilot episode of America’s Got Talent Season 13. It was shown in the Philippines on May 31, 2018.
Judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Heidi Klum got scared because of the actions of the Indonesian girl who appeared wearing her trademark red-and-white dress.
The Sacred Riana approached Mel B and showed her a newspaper clip that had an article titled "12 People Died in Building Blaze: Suicide Victim to Blame."
Several photos of people were placed in front of the judge and she was tasked to choose the one whom she thought caused the fire.
Mel B chose the photo of a guy named Bob. When The Sacred Riana opened up the bottom half of the newspaper clipping, it was shown that Bob caused the fire, matching the photo that Mel B chose.
The Sacred Riana also gave Mel B a polaroid photo that she took where it showed “Bob” was standing behind her.
Former Spice Girls member Mel B described the act as "magical" and she said "yes" because, "even though I'm scared, I'm gonna give you a third yes because I want to see what you're going to do next."
Howie Mandel commended The Sacred Riana by saying, "The magic is incredible but the horror is real." When he gave his "yes" vote, he described her act as "one of the most original, creepy, wonderful magic" he saw.
Heidi Klum gushed, "I love how creepy you are...it was pretty fantastic."
Simon Cowell jokingly gave her advice by saying, "You need to watch some Disney movies."
All the judges except Simon gave The Sacred Riana a “yes,” allowing her to move on to the next round of the competition.
When asked why he voted "no," Simon explained, "I just wanted it to end." He later added, "I think if I say 'yes,' we're cursed so I'm going to say 'no.'"
After the illusionist left the stage, the judges got spooked again when the newspaper clipping that the girl left behind suddenly caught fire.
The Sacred Riana was crowned the winner of AXN’s Asia’s Got Talent Season 2 that was aired in 2017.
The young girl, whose real name is Marie Antoinette Riana Graharani, was able to beat the Filipino hip-hop dance group DM-X Comvaleñoz in Asia’s Got Talent.
Her spooky persona and terrifying illusions throughout the series made The Sacred Riana a viral sensation with 100 million views on Facebook and YouTube.
