Remember when GMA-7 actor Marvin Agustin started his career in ABS-CBN?
He was part of the youth-oriented series Gimik, which aired in 1996, which also starred Judy Ann Santos, Diether Ocampo, Rico Yan, and Marvin's perennial on-screen partner Jolina Magdangal, among others.
On Instagram, the Kambal Karibal actor took down a trip to memory lane and posted photos of him with the Gimik barkada.
He wrote, "Sino nakakaalala ng touch the color game??!! Touch the color na sa 90s outfits namin! #Happy90sDay #Gimik"
Touch The Color game, which is also known by its other name Twister, is a popular game in the '90s that involved colors.
As seen in the photo, the cast of Gimik were all wearing different colors, which was also a fashion trend back in the day.
His fellow cast members Judy Ann, G Toengi, and Kaye Abad reacted to Marvin's post.
Gimik was a youth-oriented series produced by ABS-CBN that served as a training ground for its homegrown talents for future drama projects.
Among the cast members, only Judy Ann was not part of Star Magic, which was then called as ABS-CBN Talent Center.
Also part of Gimik were Mylene Dizon, Bojo Molina, Patrick Garcia, and John Lloyd Cruz.
LOVE TEAM WITH JOLINA. Yesterday, June 11, Marvin also looked back on his team-up with Jolina and their 1998 blockbuster movie Labs Kita, Okey Ka Lang?
In the caption, Marvin addressed Jolina as his "labtim."
He wrote, "Na-miss ko tuloy ang Baguio dahil dito.
"One of the movies I made that I can watch over and over again!
"Labtim, san nga natin binili yang mga silver necklace and bracelets pati na yung singsing na pareho tayo? #labskitaokeykalang"
Jolina replied to Marvin's post and said, "ABA ABA!! Ano to??? Hi daw sabi ng bangs at cheeks ko!"
Marvin then responded, "yes ang cheeks mo, nag cecelebrate ng birthday!!"
Marvin and Jolina, whose love team was called MarJo, last worked together in the 2015 ABS-CBN teleserye Flordeliza.
