Though she got offers to switch networks, Winwyn Marquez decided to remain a Kapuso. "Siyempre my heart was still with GMA."

Actress-turned-beauty-queen Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez revealed that she received an offer and considered transferring to another television network.

However, the 2017 Reina Hispanoamericana titleholder decided to remain loyal to her home network, GMA-7.

“Yes, yes, I [considered transferring]… yes. May offers…” Winwyn told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other bloggers, during the pictorial of her upcoming Regal movie with Vhong Navarro titled Unli Life.

"Pero siyempre my heart was still with GMA."

Last May, the 26-year-old daughter of Joey Marquez and Alma Moreno signed an exclusive contract with the Kapuso Network.

PEP.ph asked Winwyn what made her stay despite getting offers from the rival network.

“I started with GMA. Sila ang nag-hone sa ‘kin talaga. Sila ang nagbigay sa akin ng confidence din talaga,” she explained.

“I think it comes down to loyalty and I think I still want to try kung saan ako nagsimula, kumbaga, why not try again?

“Ang pangit naman siguro kung biglang iniwan na lang, so I wanna stay with my home network, kung saan ako lumaki and improve pa with them.”

As for her upcoming projects, Winwyn said that apart from Unli Life, two more acting projects are already in the works.

“I’m going to have a teleserye soon. The story is about family. It’s about sisters,” she said, referring to the upcoming Kapuso teleserye Pamilya Roces. It will also star Carla Abellana, Gabbi Garcia, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Rocco Nacino, and Christian Bautista, among others.

She added that she will also start shooting for another movie soon.
