Angelu de Leon, Ciara Sotto, and Michael Flores took a trip down memory lane when they posted throwback photos of their top-rating program TGIS on their social media accounts.
The show, which premiered on August 12, 1995, celebrated its 23rd anniversary last Sunday.
Ciara, who played Rain in the show, posted a photo of one of their outtakes during the shooting of their spin-off Growing Up's Boracay episode in 1997.
She wrote in the caption, Happy 23rd Anniversary to us!!! TGIS is irreplaceable in my heart!!! Group hug! You know I miss all of you so much. And I love you all! I hope to see all of you soon! #angdamikongsinabingALL #tgis #growingup #rain"
Angelu also posted the same photo on her Instagram story last Sunday.
On August 14, the actress who played Peachy, posted a message which she also dedicated to TGIS fans.
She wrote, "Happy 23rd Anniversary, TGIS!!! I will always and forever be grateful for this show and everybody involved.
"Maraming salamat din sa lahat ng nagmahal ng show namin. THANK GOD talaga!"
Michael, who portrayed Mickey in the show, posted his black-and-white publicity photos that were taken during TGIS.
He admitted in his post that he wasn't keen on being part of the show during its first few weeks, especially when he was removed from his dance group Manoeuvres.
He narrated in his caption, "These pictures were taken 23yrs ago for a youth oriented show called..TGIS.
"At first i was really hesitant of being an actor. Masaya na kasi ako sa pagiging isang mananayaw sa grupong MANOEUVRES. From 1992-1995 naging member ako ng grupong manoeuvres.
"It came to a point na nahirapan nako pagsabayin ang pagsayaw at pagarte dahil mas naging busy nako sa pagiging artista nung mga panahon na yun.
"Manoeuvres decided na tanggalin nalang ako sa group at mag focus nalang daw ako sa pagiging artista dahil nakita nila yung potential ko as an actor at yung bilis ng pag angat ng career ko.
"Honestly, naiyak ako when i found out about it. Dahil mahal ko din talaga ang pagsasayaw.
"When TGIS started, sa totoo lang, di ako masaya. Dahil happy nako for just being a dancer.
"Ang kilala ko lang sa group were bob, dahil nakasama ko sya mag model for cinderella and angelu, dahil manoeuvres ang back up dancers ng show na.. ANG TV."
He also wrote in his caption that, like the other cast members, he thought that TGIS wouldn't last long on air.
"Aug 12, 1995 pinalabas ang show na TGIS. 1st season palang akala namin di na magtatagal ang show.
"Nagulat nalang kami nung nag 2nd season, bigla nalang kaming nag number 1..and the rest was history.
"To my TGIS family..HAPPY 23RD ANNIVERSARY! GROUP HUG! CHEERS! #TGIS #THANKGODITSSABADO #MICKEYLEDESMA #VIVA #GMA #TGBTG #SASUSUNODNASABADOULIT #batang90s #NANANANANANANANANA #DANCER #ACTOR #THANKGODFOR23YRS"
