Remember this show where John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo shot their first love scene?
In October 2006, John Lloyd and Bea top-billed the prime-time series Maging Sino Ka Man, together with Anne Curtis and Sam Milby.
The ABS-CBN teleserye received various accolades from award-giving bodies, and its impressive seven-month run bore a sequel that was aired in December 2007.
Almost twelve years later, its director Mae Cruz-Alviar took a trip down memory lane when she posted a photo from her "baul," which shows one of the publicity photos for Maging Sino Ka Man.
She captioned the post, "Another one from the baul. #MagingSinoKaMan #JBBerenguer #CelineMagsaysay #JackieMadrigal #EliDavide"
The hashtags represent the characters that the four lead stars portrayed in the show: Sam as JB, Anne as Celine, Bea as Jackie, and John Lloyd as Eli.
Included in the photo is Maging Sino Ka Man's main unit director, FM Reyes, and Direk Mae.
Anne and Bea reacted to Direk Mae's post.
Direk Mae promised Bea that she would post more throwback photos on her Instagram feed.
Aside from Maging Sino Ka Man Books 1 and 2, Bea and Direk Mae also worked with each other in the 2010 series Magkaribal.
Maging Sino Ka Man is one of the most remarkable projects of John Lloyd and Bea, following their first three shows: Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay (2002), It Might Be You (2003), and Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin (2005), as it was also in the show where they first shot a love scene.
After Maging Sino Ka Man, Bea and John Lloyd worked on I Love Betty La Fea, which was their last series before they separated ways on television. The show aired from 2008 to 2009.
In 2012, the two reunited via the prime-time series A Beautiful Affair.
The show also introduced the team-up of Anne and Sam, which later became a real-life relationship.
Currently, John Lloyd is on leave from showbiz, while Bea is shooting a movie with Aga Muhlach.
Anne will top-bill the Metro Manila Film Festival entry Aurora, while Sam is one of the lead actors in the show Halik.
