Glaiza de Castro addresses network transfer rumors

Glaiza de Castro says she still has contract with GMA Network. 



Glaiza de Castro responded to netizens who asked her to comment on rumors regarding her supposed network transfer.

Speculations started when PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) reported that Glaiza will take a temporary break from showbiz in order to pursue her studies.

Glaiza admitted in the article published last August 25: "I've been wanting to go to school and study music production." 

She mentioned that her study break would only last for several weeks.

Through her Twitter account, Glaiza reiterated that she would only be gone for several weeks. In hr August 26 post, she also disclosed that she still has a contract with GMA-7, which is why she won't be transferring to rival network ABS-CBN.

Using her Twitter account @glaizaredux, she wrote: "Mga ilang linggo lang naman, may kontrata pa ko no wahahaha"

This was her response to the Twitter user using the handle @itsmeailyn who wrote:

"Alam mo mamimiss kita contessa kc ikw lng ung pnapanood ko dto s riyad pv medyo breaktime ako pmpawala ng pagod tpos nabasa ko p magaaral k muna so mwwla k s tv pansamantala kakasad nman huhu" 

Glaiza's afternoon show Contessa is slated to end in two weeks' time.

A netizen using the Twitter handle @Marie_Mhel said about the Kapuso actress:

"Nagbasa ako comments s gma news fb post ng article about you, ang oa ng mga reaction s comments section, kung hindi ka raw buntis eh lilipat k ng tv station"  

Glaiza made light of the situation by replying:

"Pwedeng jowa muna? Baka sakaling magkatotoo lol" 

A netizen using the handle @itsmejhoe06 once again asked if Glaiza is indeed transferring by posting:

"Wala ngang jowa buntis pa
"Pero teka totoo ba??? Lilipat ka ng Tv station??hmmmm" 

The actress, who was last seen in the 2018 Cinemalaya entry Liway, responded by replying:

"Sila na nag nakaka alam ng future ko. Talo pa nila si Lord."
