GMA-7's afternoon series Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka aired its final episode last Friday, August 31.
The show, which is dubbed as GMA Afternoon Prime's "adbokaserye," featured Yasmien Kurdi as Thea, a woman diagnosed with HIV.
The conclusion of the show aired almost six months after its pilot telecast last February 26.
In the final episode, Thea triumphed against the wrath of Ava (Jackie Rice), after she accidentally killed her with a gunshot.
Thea decided not to renew ties with her husband Marco (Mike Tan) for the sake of their children.
Still, Marco made efforts to win his wife's heart again since they still both love each other.
Thea participated as a speaker in an HIV symposium, where she saw the spirit of her mother Magda (Shamaine Buencamino) and mother-in-law Adele (Gina Alajar), who were now both at peace.
Thea also revealed that HIV is now undetectable in her blood, same with her best friend Lawrence (Martin del Rosario).
At the end of her speech, Marco asked forgiveness again from Thea.
Thea then told him, "Sa lahat ng pinagdaanan ko, isa lang ang napatunayan ko, hindi ko kayang iwan ka."
Marco and Thea shed tears and gave each other a tight hug, a sign that Thea wants her husband back in her life.
