Filipino dance group Junior New System (JNS) earned praise again for their high-heels dance number during the semi-finals 1 episode of America's Got Talent.
Members of the all-male dance group started the number by performing with red high-heeled boots, a suggestion they picked up from AGT judge Howie Mandel.
The two-minute dance number earned a standing ovation from the judges and audience members who watched AGT.
Mel B told the group, "This has to be by far 100% your best performance ever!"
Simon Cowell agreed with her by declaring: "That's what we call a semi-final performance."
Heidi Klum described their performance as "explosive."
The supermodel said, "Please someone call the bomb squad because this was explosive!
"And can I tell you guys something? I mean, you guys are absolutely insane. You create so many wow moments.
"So many times I sit here and I go, wow, oh my gosh, that really hurt—like you flipping backwards, landing on your head without hands. I’ve never seen this before. Wow!"
Howie Mandel, who advised the group to start their performance by dancing with high heels, was delighted to see that the group followed his comment.
"How exciting is it when you see what listening to me does for you?
"I said start with the heels, you started with the heels even before we saw you. It was spectacular. I know what I’m talking about. I am fantastic!"
Junior New System was almost eliminated in the competition during the first live results show of AGT's Season 13.
Simon and Heidi voted that Junior New System should advance to the semi-finals, while Mel B and Howie picked diabolo artist Mochi.
In the end, America voted for JNS to stay in the competition.
The results for this week will be revealed on September 5 (U.S. time).
