Sabi ni TV5 President Chot Reyes, "We like doing things that was never done before in local media or in the sports world, I think we will do one better than the last year.
"Because this year we are going to cover not only the nationals, but even the regional qualifiers on their journey, on their road to nationals.
"Also, until they reach the international world championships."
Dagdag pa niya, "ESPN as a brand is synonymous with the world cheerleading championships, our partnerships [with NCC] allows us to do that so we are here to elevate ESPN 5, our mission is to elevate sports in every way that we can and doing this with NCC is part of our means."
Nasa Season 14 na ang National Cheerleading Competition at ang tema nito ngayong taon ay "We Are Fearless."
Ayon naman sa founder at head ng NCC na si Carlos Valdez, “I’d like to thank ESPN 5 for giving us the opportunity to be part of this historic partnership.
“Last year, the TV5 coverage [in MOA Arena] was the most extensive in the world in terms of cheerleading because they covered cheerleading for three days.
“This year, we will taking it up another notch, they’re [ESPN 5] going to be with us during the regionals, up to the nationals, and even up to the world championships.”
