Meet the cast of GMA-7's upcoming drama series Inagaw na Bituin (L-R): Renz Valerio, Therese Malvar, Kyline Alcantara, Angelu de Leon, Marvin Agustin, Sunshine Dizon, Gabby Eigenmann, and Angelika Dela Cruz.

Kyline Alcantara is set to star in a new show in GMA-7, which serves as the follow-up for her first Kapuso teleserye, Kambal Karibal.

This time, she will top-billing the series with award-winning teen actress Therese Malvar in an upcoming Afternoon Prime series titled Inagaw na Bituin.

A story conference for the show was held today, October 24.

Playing important roles in the story are former teen stars Sunshine Dizon, Angelika dela Cruz, and Angelu de Leon.

This is the first time that GMA-7 will bring together their original, home-grown drama princesses who top-billed their own successful prime-time teleseryes from the late '90s to the early 2000s.

Apart from being the lead in the youth-oriented series TGIS, Angelu also played the central character in the 1997 series Ikaw Na Sana with Bobby Andrews, which GMA co-produced with VIVA Television.

Angelika top-billed the 2001 drama series Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin, which is known to be the first network-produced teleserye under the GMA Telebabad block. Sunshine portrayed Angelika's rival before the latter left the show.

Angelika dela Cruz played the lead actress in GMA-7's 2001 teleserye Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin.

In 2002, after leaving Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin, Sunshine was given her own teleserye titled Kung Mawawala Ka, together with Cogie Domingo.

Sunshine Dizon and Cogie Domingo were love team partners in the 2002 political drama series Kung Mawawala Ka.

After doing lead roles in teleseryes, Angelika, Sunshine, and Angelu became effective kontrabidas in their past teleseryes.

Inagaw na Bituin is the fifth teleserye of Sunshine and Angelika together. Their previous shows were: Umulan Man O Umaraw (2000), Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin (2001), Mundo Mo'y Akin (2013), and Ika-6 Na Utos (2016-2018).

'90s teen actors Gabby Eigenmann and Marvin Agustin, and former child actor Renz Valerio are also part of the upcoming afternoon series Inagaw na Bituin.

The show also serves as a reunion for Angelu and the show's director Mark Reyes, who first worked with each other in the iconic youth-oriented series TGIS.

Angelu wrote in her Instagram post, "Grateful to be doing an afternoon soap again with an awesome cast @m_sunshinedizon, @gabbyeigenmann, @marvinagustin, @angelikadelacruz, @renzvalerio, @theresemalvar and @itskylinealcantara. Plus great bonus to be working with @direkmark again."

An airing date for Inagaw na Bituin has yet to be announced.
