Expect an all-star game when the biggest stars in the country face-off to celebrate the seventh anniversary of Pilipinas, Game KNB?
For its opening salvo, wacky comedians Brod Pete, Vice Ganda and Chokoleit will have a dance showdown to the tune of "Papaya" and "Papayo Yawza." Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Season 1 winner Keanna Reeves and My Only U lead star Toni Gonzaga will also join the group for some dancing and the hilarious Pick-a-Word and Take-a-Pic rounds.
Not to be outdone, host Edu Manzano will also have surprises up his sleeves for what will surely be an unforgettable weeklong special.
Pilipinas, Game KNB? is ABS-CBN's longest-running game show where contestants go through a series of trivia questions for a chance to win P1 million. To date, the show already has 37 millionaires.
Edu attributed the show's staying-power to its innovative concepts, putting it at par with foreign franchises in terms of viewership and prizes.
"PGKNB is a work in progress. From the writers to the producers, the staff, the crew, the management and me as the host, we're all working hard to always offer something new to our audience," said Edu.
The TV host popularized the "Papaya" dance routine in PGKNB, which was featured in the United States show Good Morning, America hosted by Diane Sawyer. Prior to Edu, Kris Aquino hosted PGKNB but she had to give up the show because of her delicate pregnancy.
Expect more innovations to come in PGKNB. For the meantime, enjoy the exciting anniversary week with more of the Kapamilya Network's brightest stars coming over to play. Catch Pilipinas, Game KNB's weeklong celebration from November 10 to 15 (Mon-Fri) before Wowowee.
