Xian Lim clarified that there is no truth to rumors that he is set to transfer to GMA Network.
The 29-year-old Kapamilya actor said he was also surprised when he first heard about his supposed network transfer making the rounds online.
"Wala naman po kasing ganyan. Actually, nabasa ko lang siya sa Twitter. Hindi ko naman po alam kung saan nanggagaling.
"I'm still with ABS-CBN pa naman po."
A homegrown talent of ABS-CBN, Xian used to be with the network's talent management arm Star Magic from 2008 to 2017.
Then he transferred to Viva Artists Agency in January 2018.
Netizens have observed, however, that he is no longer visible on TV of late.
The last time he appeared on TV was in 2017, when he did a special participation for the now-defunct prime-time series A Love To Last.
When asked about the status of his TV career, Xian explained that his lack of visibility has nothing to do with his change of talent management.
"Even naman po when I was with my previous management madalang na rin naman po akong nakikita sa TV, e.
"Ako naman, I don't think the management had anything to do with it. It's more of naghihintay lang po ako ng projects.
"In terms of TV, naghihintay lang naman po ako.
"Thankfully, yung mga pelikula ko, pasok na pasok."
CO-PRODUCER OF HANGGANG KAILAN
PEP.ph interviewed Xian after the presscon for Hanggang Kailan, his newest movie opposite fellow Viva artist Louise Delos Reyes.
Xian signed a 10-picture deal with Viva Entertainment headed by Vic del Rosario.
Talking about what it's like being a Viva artist, Xian said, "Being with Boss Vic, nakakatuwa lang na andaming opportunities.
"He always asks kung ano ang vision ko, ano ang gusto kong mangyari, and ano ba magagawa niya para matupad yung mga gusto ko."
Part of their agreement was for Xian's newly-established film company XL8 to be a co-producer for Hanggang Kailan.
Talking about his experience as a producer, Xian recalled, "Sobrang hands on kasi ako, e. Artista kasi ako.
"Ang taas ng level na nararamdaman ko kapag may kailangan yung mga tao sa paligid.
"What's gonna make everyone comfortable, ibibigay ko hangga't sa kaya ko."
Xian is also slated to co-produce the 2019 Cinemalaya entry Tabon, which will be his directorial debut at the same time.
Beaming, he concluded, "2019 is the start to make more movies."
