Filipino-American singer Angelica Hale made history as the first two-time Golden Buzzer recipient in America’s Got Talent: The Champions.
Angelica, who earned her first Golden Buzzer in 2017, wowed judges with her rendition of Rachel Platten’s "Fight Song."
The 11-year-old Fil-Am girl also received a standing ovation from the judges and the studio audience members during the episode aired on January 21, 2019 (U.S. time).
Judge Heidi Klum said, “Angelica, you are like the little boss lady that you are.
“You came here to win. I can see that. I can feel that.”
Judge Howie Mandel also lauded Angelica’s captivating performance, and gave her his Golden Buzzer.
Howie told Angelica, "When people show up on this show, the level of competition is much higher.
“Just by the title, you are amongst champions.
“You show up and you rip off the ceiling off this theater, you really do.
“And you know what, that was your fight song.
“And if I can do anything, I'm gonna help you win this fight."
Angelica was so overwhelmed with emotion, that she fell on her knees when Howie hit the Golden Buzzer.
The singer burst into tears and added, "I can't believe this is actually happening to me.
“I mean I never expected this to happen.
I wanna thank you all so much. A dream come true."
Angelica finished second place during the 12th season of the talent show in 2017.
