Apey's wishes came true in the latest episode of Pinoy Big Brother Otso, because her 2-in-1 housemate status with her brother Mark has been dissolved. The two will now continue as separate housemates.
Before this happened, Apey greatly detested her partnership with Mark. She told her newly-found brother that she could not accept being in a 2-in-1 relationship because she wanted to be alone in her PBB journey.
This is why PBB let viewers vote for whether the two should stay as 2-in-1 or be split apart. The housemates were also allowed to vote.
The results of the votes were revealed last night, February 3. Majority of the public, whose votes counted as 50% of the decision, voted to split Mark and Apey. Those who wanted them to split accounted for 34.5% of the votes while only 15.4% voted for them to continue being treated as 2-in-1 housemates.
Most of the housemates also voted for the split. All of them except Wakim voted for the split. Fumiya said communication is hard between Apey and Mark because of their 2-in-1 status, while Lou said they should be divided because Apey cannot accept Mark. Wakim, on the other hand, stressed that Apey should not neglect her family, and she should play with the cards she was dealt with.
Later on, Kuya informed the housemates that Apey and Mark have finally been separated. Apey was overjoyed with this result, but Mark was not too happy.

The episode also revealed the latest set of nominations: Wakim, Apey and Lou.
Wakim's nomination was a punishment for his numerous rule violations in the PBB house. He had 11 rule violations, including talking without a lapel mic, whispering, cursing, sleeping in the bedroom, and breaking things.
Apey and Lou, meanwhile, were nominated by their fellow housemates.
Lou, Yamyam, Fumiya, and Wakim gave Apey a total of eight points. They mentioned Apey's rough relationship with Mark as the reason for nomination.
Mark, Apey, Fumiya, and Wakim gave Lou six nomination points. They said her words can be hurtful, and that she is playing safe.
